UNF (AF) and UNC Tap and Die 24pc Set Imperial with Metal Case TE104

This product works really well for such a cheap set, bought it to do one job and expected to throw it away afterwards, but I was surprised how well it cut the threads. I'm not saying you could use it commercially but for a diy person it's ideal. would like to say I would buy again but I don't think I will need to ! good product at the right price, delivered one time, what more can I say

Nice little Imperial Tap and Die set delivered a day early exactly what I wanted. Only down side was a little damage to the internal plastic down to the courier not the supplier I suspect. Positive buy

the saying you get what you pay for is true, this was a cheap set and it certainly is,especially the tap and die holders and the markings on the dies on some are unreadable. I don't use imperial sizes as a rule but needed two sizes for a job,and as this set had both in it i opted for this as i probably won't use them again after saying all that they did do the job I wanted them for but wi would not recommend for any regular work

I bought this tap and die set as i was rebuilding a Rover V8, which uses a lot of UNC &UNF threads, and it has helped me hugely. The quality appears to be fine, i haven't snapped one yet, and the metal storage case it comes in is very durable. If you require a UNC and UNF tap and die set i would highly recommend this one. This wouldn't withstand pro-use, I'm sure. But for the home restorer needing to clean up or extend a few UNC or UNF threads it's perfect! Cheap as chips, or cheap as Chinese - who cares for what it is.

A really inexpensive set and will probably be useful for cleaning existing threads. Handles are useless being made of very cheap 'alloy' or Mezak (I think). I wouldn't like to use them on hard materials.

The taps are ok but the screw Handel is very poor and doesn’t screw tight enough

Wrong threading in at least one of the bolt threader.

produit très correct pour le prix,le taraudage dans un alliage d'aluminium sans problèmes,j'utilise principalement le 1/4 et 3/8 unc pour les accessoires photo.
