This is a replacement machine, because my pld one finally gave up. Both washer and dryer tubs are huge. The dryer is absolutely great. The clothes come out of the spin mostly DRY! It should save on my electric bill. I wanted my dryer to be Gas, but I couldn’t wait, I’m not sorry I got the electric model.

This thing is a beast. It washes and dries a bigger load than my old side by side units. It has a bunch of settings that I finally decided I didn't really need, I just use the auto setting unless I really need something special. Washes and dries pretty quick and it's rather quiet. Also the final spin cycle squeezes so much water out of the clothes they don't take long to dry. Pros are: Quiet Big loads Washes and dries at the same time. Has all kinds of energy and water saving features. Takes up less space. Big honkin loads. Cons: If you're short, you may have trouble getting all the clothes out of the dryer . Because it's stacked you have to pull the clothes out of the washer, then spin the drum a bit to get to the ones in the back. This doesnt bother me but again if you're short... You should probably take the lint trap out before emptying the dryer since things tend to catch on it and pull it out anyway.

It does a solid job if washing and drying. I wish it had incorporated more digital technology so the user would be better informed if time elapsed the cycle progress etc. Alas, the dials are vintage 1990s design. They do the job but relay no useful information once the cycle has started. Both the dryer and the washer at times gyrate a bit more forcefully that one would like to see. Not often but it happens with certain loads. This is a bit anxiety causing if like me you elevate the uh not on rubber feet or pods to reduce vibrations and noise the downstairs neighbors might hear. The unit most of the time runs quietly though. I am mostly satisfied with it. You need to buy the power cord and attach it yourself. I used a four prong 220 one and it has worked well. Ii use this inside of a condo with no Venting. So I also purchased a separate water tank that when attaches to the uh nits venting outlet catches 99 pct of the debris. Overall a solid, if not inexpensive option.

I can't say enough GOOD about this unit!! Both washer and dryer drum capacities are extremely large. Operation buttons are easy to understand. Installation was a breeze. Dryer is extremely quiet when in operation. The only negative I would comment is that when the washer is agitating it has a weird sound... kinda like a duck. It is not annoying but just have not heard a washing machine make this sound before. We are getting a chuckle out of it. Overall we are very satisfied.

Washing machine cleans very well, Large tub for large loads, Also very good dryer. Delivery was outstanding because they called me in advance to let me know when it would be arriving. Also the driver Called to let me know he would be there within an hour. Highly recommend

I purchased this washer/dryer combo for my 85 year old grandmother. She is no longer able to go up and down the stairs to do her laundry so we bought this to have installed in her main floor. The delivery was ok- a tiny hiccup with coordinating the date, but it was fine. Less than a month after we purchased the machine, it sounded like a motorboat was driving through her house. I contacted Amazon and the directed me to contact the seller. The seller provided me with the number for GE to come and service the machine. To date, there have been 5 servicemen at my grandmother’s house (which puts her at risk every time), she is on her 3rd motor, and the tub was replaced. I reached out to the seller for a new machine, and I’ve yet to receive a response. This is ridiculous.
