Come and join the fun with master illustrator and author, Hervé Tullet! Experience the magic of Hervé Tullet in The Game of Shadows , a title from his much-loved Let’s Play Games series of interactive board books for readers aged 3-6 years. There’s a noise in the garden. Who could that be? Grab a torch and shine it through the detailed die-cuts in this book to bring mysterious shadows to life in the darkness of your room. The book features Tullet’s unique hand lettering and a riot of clever ‘holes’ and illustrations. Beloved by children the world over since they first appeared in print, each book works like a game, occupying busy minds and little fingers, and stimulating thought and imagination. Ages 3-6 Review: Beautiful Book - One of the most creative books from one of the best children's authors. My son loves it! Review: An interactive book for playing in the dark - This book is meant to be held up to a bright light or with a flashlight to create shadows and overlapping shapes. Not all shapes are obvious but hint at the possible stories with minimal narration. A different story is possible every time and allows children lots of freedom to make their own discoveries. We discovered this in the Pompidou Museum in Paris and were glad to be able to buy more copies here online for all the kids in our life. It's become a favorite!

Fun book
My toddler really enjoys this book. It can be a bit tricky to hold the book and a flashlight in a good position. Overall a lot of fun.

My grandson loves it
This Christmas gift was a real hit among all ages. Everyone had to stop and try the shadows which delighted the two-year-old who was the intended recipient.

Didn't Live Up to the Hype
I really wanted to like this book...I really did! I'm a fan of Hervé Tullet, but this just didn't meet my expectations or live up to its reputation at all! There are only 8 pictures or so, the board book is difficult to hold open with 1 hand while holding a flashlight in the other, and it's all around just an impractical kind of book. If it wasn't so inexpensive, I would have considered returning it, as it's really just a 1 time read kind of book. Save yourself the money and borrow it from the library!

Tullet Win
This book has been a go to bedtime/naptime/anytime we can make it dark favorite. A huge helping key would be to pick up a newer led flashlight, as the consistency and clarity of those works 100 times better than the old style flashlights. The shadows and stories are truly endless if you use your imagination, and the animal's in the book sold my 2 yr old from our first "read"!

Rather entertaining
Favourite book before going to sleep for a 2 y.o. :) There's a bit of story in the book about garden and animals. The cutouts are nice and sharp, some designs are quite intricate (for a toddler), others more simple. But I'd really love it if it had more pages (there are 8), though. ;)

Originale e allo stesso tempo molto semplice. Ho trovato su amazon solo la versione inglese ma non importa perché l'unica scritta presente sul libro è il titolo. Molto consogliato

Very Cool Book!
This book is great! Grab a flashlight, find a darkened room and prepare to amaze your kids! There isn't a lot of story to it... But that's what makes it cool! Imaginations can run wild while you project the cutouts around the room! I totally recommend this book to anybody looking for something different and engaging in a book!

Wonderful!
What a wonderful book! We are well on our way to collecting all the Hervé Tullet books. My 1 year old son delights at the shadows on the wall this book creates and I have no doubt he will enjoy it in the years ahead. We have also given this as a gift and the parents loved it - 'never seen a book like this before' they said.

Spannend
