Very nice plants!
Had issues with delivery by usps that I was afraid would hurt my plants in the 90 degree heat. However they plants looked good and ALL perked up and perked right up. I’m looking forward to a great harvest!

Beautiful Strawberry Starter Plants
My Albion Everbearing Strawberry Plants arrived yesterday. Beautiful baby Strawberry plants! I actually got 38 plants and all but 1 were very healthy. I followed the instructions on the soil mixture given on the website to the letter. All planted and ready to grow! I have them on a covered patio and move out into the sun for the early morning rays. Then around 10AM put them back in the shade. I'm misting them with a spray bottle so as not to over saturate the roots. Cannot wait to see how they grow.

Not like any other bare root plant that I ever bought.
Not a single one of these sprouted! I had my first organic garden before 1970. I am not a novice, but these came looking horrible. I have gotten many plants bare root in the past and all thrived, but these were different. There was mold on the plants and they had a bad smell. We put them in a new raised bed with every additive needed, decent beginning soil, organic compost, blood meal, bone meal, mushroom compost, bat guano, all to no avail. I used to have 250 strawberry plants in my California home and made all of our jam organic and fresh. There was nothing "fresh" about these plants. I could not return them because I live in Mexico. I had them shipped to my US mailing address and it was not worth going for an 11 hour one way drive to return them.

Replacement plants were better.
The first delivery was not good. A couple of the plants were slimy and mushy - unusable. Many were near dead and died. I contacted the grower, and he offered to replace the plants for free, but required that I pay for the shipping. I didn't have a choice so I did. Making these MUCH more expensive. The photos are the replacement plants. There were some slimy leaves, and two look iffy, but it looks like the rest will survive and thrive. Fingers crossed.

They are bare root not plants
I was very careful to order plants and not bare root because I wanted a harvest this year and I was planting them a little late. However, when they came they are bare root. No problem, I ordered plants online...I can roll with it...I planted the same day they arrived and it looks like all but 3 of the 30 are green and looking really good. So, I will have some nice strawberries next season. Overall, very happy. Just not advertised well.

Thank goodness!
I am so happy to find a seller of strawberry plants on Amazon that is selling healthy plants. Last year, I purchased three sets of 50 plants. What I received in each bundle were smelly, black plants with some being squishy. What a letdown that was. It made me scared to try again. But, I did, and I am glad I did. EVERY plant in this order is alive, healthy, firm, and green. Not only that but these plants were shipped promptly and arrived quickly. AND, to add icing on top of the cake, I received 33 plants instead of the 30 I ordered. I am purchasing more from this seller today. Thank goodness for a great shopping experience that restores my faith in Amazon sellers!
