Mcvities Penguin Original 9

My husband, a British ex-pat living here in the US, misses his Penguins and other British candy. I lived in the UK for two years and I also developed a taste for Penguins as well. They have a nice chocolate flavor and the texture is smooth. I ordered some Penguins for Christmas and you can imagine my delight when I opened the package to find a free gift of Monster Munch! I had never tasted it before but my husband fondly remembered it from his childhood growing up in the 1970s. The Monster Munch was a six-pack of pickled onion flavor, which reminded me of Worcestershire sauce. Very nice! Thank you for making my husband happy :)

Got them after a friend in England recommended them... I love them. Can't decide how to describe exactly, but they aren't like anything I have had in the U.S It reminds me of a couple of things I have had before, but can't recall exactly what. They are crunchy and chocolatey and i love them. Like chocolate over a chocolate crunchy cookie

Wow, what a surprise these are. Purchased as a treat while hiking. The jokes on the wrapper are special. Not as sweet as US candies as it shoudl not be. Very nice treat and enjoyable. Will be ordering more in the future.

Lovely chocolate--definitely British-made, to be sold in England, & not loaded with sugar like the British chocolate that's made for export to the USA. Crisp 'biscuit' which was full of flavor (& nostalgia!).

I miss these a lot, from England, even in my old age!I have not met a chocolate lover who has sampled these and does not like!However, these arrived in June melted.

Ever since I was a child growing up in London I've LOVED Penguin chocolates. Oh the nostalgia! They were as good as I remembered them and still had the little penguin jokes I was so fond of as a 5 year old!

these are finally available locally! I love these things!
