Correct polarity!
Good product. Exactly as described and photographed in the ad. Some reviews say "wrong polarity", I believe this is in error on the buyer's part. On this connector the red wire goes to the pin, black to socket, so this is the correct connector for the load or charger side of the connection. If you intend to use the pigtail on the battery side of a circuit you need to buy a different connector with red as the socket. Pin is load side, socket is battery side for red positive. I use these on motorcycles and my camper for cables coming from a charger, or a volt meter to check battery voltage.

Exactly what I needed
Used to change connectors on my NOCO Gen 5 outdoor charging system.

They work....but
They work as intended. Seem to be of good quality too. However, someone was not paying attention which side the RED (+) and the BLACK (-) went in. They are BACKWARDS! So make sure to attach or solder whatever you are doing on correctly or you may see whatever you have plugged in give up the ghost.

Backwards Polarity
As others have mentioned, the polarity of these is backwards from what you likely expect (in most uses the positive is the shielded side). But otherwise they work great. I just wired them opposite of the colors and tossed some heat shrink over the red/black wires so as to not cause future confusion and they work great. Bought them because of the price and the included dust/water cover. As long as you are ok switching the wiring colors, they work great.

Watch the polarity
With the red being unprotected, use these only for items that you are plugging directly into a battery.Starting from the battery, the red should be protected since it’s the hot connector.They are available elsewhere with the red protected.

Just what I needed for my Animated Holiday Lighting
I'm using these for my Animated Holiday Lighting as a quick connect between my light controller and external power supply. They work perfectly and the wire gauge means minimal power loss in the connection.

High quality connectors
These are high quality products. The connector terminals are sturdy and the 16 AWG wires feel really thick and strong in hand. I will use them to plug into SAE sockets which are connected to batteries. The polarity is just right for me.
