These are the real deal! Exact same product from Allsup's!
No longer living in New Mexico caused me to purchase uncooked chimmi’s from Allsup’s and stick them in a cooler and bring them back to Colorado. (There is no discount for buying uncooked chimmi’) The last time I purchased them to go, I saw the box they came out of and quickly took a picture. A quick search led me the Posada Shredded Beef Chimichanga item on Amazon. Wondering if this was indeed the same product Allsup’s uses I confirmed the UPC code on the box from Allsup’s and it matched the product details on Amazon. I ordered them and they showed up in 3 days! They came shipped in a Styrofoam lined box with a ton of dry ice. I opened them up and they were still frozen. I immediately thawed two out and cooked them in my fryer for 4 minutes. They came out looking and smelling like an Allsup’s chimni. Now came the taste test. After letting them cool down, I put some taco sauce on one and took a bite. There is no doubt that these are the same product Allsup’s uses and they taste amazing! These are the real deal! Amazon for the win! Make sure you order yourself some Allsup’s Taco Sauce to complete the New Mexican experience.

Just like Allsups!
I had been craving some of these for a while now! Deep fried at 375 for 10 mins in peanut oil and they are exactly the same. Love them!

Does not have shredded beef
Bought this since the reviews claim it tastes like Alsups. No it does not taste or even have any shredded beef. It does however have cheese. Needless to say I am not happy and wish I could return this

I don't have a chance to enjoy the legendary ALLSUP'S chimichangas very often
Having moved away from New Mexico, I don't have a chance to enjoy the legendary ALLSUP'S chimichangas very often. Which is too bad because they rock. So imagine my delight when a little research turned up that Windsor Posada is actually the supplier for ALLSUP's chimis.....NOM NOM NOM. Got these shipped from Amazon and so whenever I feel like an ALLSUP's chimi I just grab one out of the freezer and pop it in the microwave. Probably will also be fantastic deep fried.

Not the same
Beware, they are not the same. Allsup burritos was shredded meat. The ones I got had chunk of meat in the middle. Yes, 1 piece. All the rest of the burrito was cheese and what looks like beans. Might be the same brand. But that brand change the ingredients. I say again. It's not strings/aka shredded meat.

Exactly like the ones I used to get at Costco! Love these!

Overpriced. Small chimis
Overpriced. I was looking for those extra large chimis that I get at the gas station. These are little chimis. One of them only had 1 large chunk of meat and nothing else in the tortilla. Not Impressed.

Costco may not keep this product in stock.
The Posada Chimichanga with Steak is the King ofburritos. Three or four minutes in the microwave and voila, you’re a chef !This makes for a hearty breakfast quickly and is perfect for working folks. They are very high in protein. Supply is sometimes erratic though. (Isn’tthat the way it always is with something you REALLY like ?
