i just bought this item and im gonna use it to cover a closet. what glue and tools do i need?

You need a quart of heavy duty clear adhesive. This is available at Lowes, Home Depot and most paint stores. You will need a sharp razor knife and a sponge. youtube has some really good videos on "installing unpasted wallpaper".

How about kitchen ceiling application? Thinking, being vinyl, it would be ok. Much cheaper than tin tiles.

It’s not vinyl! It’s paper, not like other wallpaper either, a heavy paper, which if you aren’t careful, you can tear it. And working with it on a ceiling would be a job!! It would look fantastic, I love it on my walls, but like I said , it’d be a real job! Good luck

Can this be painted over more than once?

I’m sure you can. But you have to let it throughly dry between coats. It tears easily if you aren’t careful, but that’s a minor problem. I love it. I’m doing my dressing room and it’s looking great! I had to paper over 2 layers of old wallpaper we couldn’t get off and you cannot tell at all! *****

Will it cover textured walls and ceilings? I need something to cover my knockdown ceiling.

For deeply textured walls, you may want to first apply a wallpaper liner. When installing on a ceiling, you'll want to be sure to apply a generous layer of adhesive. Happy decorating!
