Loftus Joker Fake Puff Cigarettes (2 Pack), White/Orange

Used these for a college play I had to direct for a class. We couldn't use real cigs because we performed in a building, and my actors wished not to. These were the perfect replacements. They look just like real lit up cigs! The audience couldn't tell the difference, and my actors didn't have to really smoke. The best part was with the pack of 24 I could hand my actors a couple to practice with on their own time, and it helped them to create real smoking habits for the stage! There were a few duds, but I just pulled out the cotton and poured the powder into another cigs to make it last longer. Seriously one of the biggest selling points in my play!

These are fantastic and to be honest are soo much fun. You can sit and puff the ciggarettes all day long. They work great but you will periodically get a few that dont puff well. But one will last a while and for the price you cant get better. They also were shipped incredibly fast. I ordered Monday night at like 11 pm and recieved Wednesday morning.

They look very authentic and realistic, but I found many of them didn't have much puff in them. I used them in a play and my character was supposed to be a "chimney" from chain-smoking, and I found that about half of the cigarettes only had a puff or two in them. Then, it's like I had to lay them down to "dry out" from the moisture of my breath before they would work again. When I would pick them up the next day, they had a good puff or two in them again, so they weren't empty. Others worked longer. It was weird.

I don't know why the reviews above are so negative because I bought these this year for a halloween costume and it worked very well. It says not to breathe in the "Puff" but I did anyways and it added a lot better visual effect. Overall the only thing that I didn't like about these was that the "smoke" didn't last that long but for this price it was worth it.

I previously ordered these last october, 2011, and they worked so well. They blew smoke out after maybe twenty times of hard exhales. AND all 24 cigs did it. This time I bought 48, 2 of the orders, and I just got done with one pack just by going through and seeing if they worked. Honestly, I got 5 that work. The rest, just for show. This is absolutely terrible. I would return them but the fact I opened them all, can't. I might get a better outcome with the other 24, doubt it though. BUYER BEWARE.

It is awesome and it served the purpose for my gasby party outfit, and the ashes part really lights up red when u blow into it.

I first bought these puffers as a two pack. They puffed quite a bit and I use them as a prop. Then I decided to get the full package of these of 20 or so, BUT these new ones - they did not puff hardly at all. Also, these were kind of "harder" than the other ones I bought which were slightly more real than these. The flame "head" on these were also more grey, covering much of the orange/red foil head. Sorry to say we didn't get hardly any puff out of these. Solution: What I did with my other ones when they finally run out of puff "smoke", is I pulled the cotton batting out carefully. I also gently pulled the flame end foil out carefully without messing up the foil. Filled it a little bit with potato starch or tapioca starch and then stuffed the cotton back and put the foil back. You'll have to experiment a little to see which end is better to fill, but after filling them, I got more "action" out of these props and they were very convincing. I've had the SAME two little puffers for over a year (the ones I previously bought) and they keep holding up with only the very rare "refill" every few months. Great long lasting gag or prop. The 20-pack however, didn't puff. Now if I get ambitious, like on a rainy day when I don't have eight thousand things to do like I normally do, I will probably sit down and unstuff and fill these little suckers with the tapioca powder, and then stuff them back again. Maybe I can get some tread life out of them. I wish I could say these were a great thing but they didn't stand up to perform at all like the twin pack I got. The seller was excellent however and had excellent delivery.
