In this critically acclaimed drama?s fourth season, his brother's death catalyzes Jimmy McGill?s transformation into ?Saul Goodman.? Now Jimmy steps into the criminal world putting his future as a lawyer - and his relationship with Kim Wexler - in deep jeopardy. Meanwhile, Mike Ehrmantraut?s work for Gustavo Fring throws the cartel into chaos with tragic results. Review: One of the Best Series of the Last Half of the 2010s - "Better Call Saul" deserved all of the plaudits it received in its first three seasons. The series follows one of the many memorable characters from "Breaking Bad," Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), as he curdles into Saul Goodman. This DVD set contains all ten episodes of the fourth season of "Better Call Saul" that originally aired on AMC from August to October in 2018. This season moves Jimmy ever closer to his role in the parent series, tracking him during his year-long suspension from practicing law. He reacts to the death of his brother Chuck (Michael McKean), continues his relationship with fellow lawyer Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), and becomes more adept at dealing with the seamier elements of Albuquerque while beginning to build the clientele he would "serve" as Saul Goodman. The absorbing plot concerning Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), and the Salomanca drug ring runs alongside. As in "Breaking Bad," creators Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould use unique and creative camera angles to help tell the stories, and again this season the writing is superb, the characters are compelling (I would watch a spinoff concerning virtually any of the show's main characters), and the cinematography of Albuquerque and the surrounding New Mexico desert is as good as it gets. Fans eagerly await the last season or two of this instant classic. Review: Good series. - Good series.

Creatively entertaining television
Better Call Saul season 4 has a storyline that keeps my attention and has me wondering what is going to happen as the plot unfolds. Anyone who enjoyed the Breaking Bad series will undoubtedly love it’s prequel Better Call Saul. This really is a great show with lots of interesting characters.

Better Call Saul is what The Godfather 2 is to first Godfather.
It'd be hard to imagine Breaking Bad without this series - it adds so much depth to BB, in the same fashion as Godfather 2 did to the original. Imagine the first Godfather as a stand-alone film. I doubt it would be as highly regarded (and) beloved. As for plot points and characters from BCS: any words would be spoilers of the highest order! I don't want the villagers from Frankenstein at my house. Believe you me, this is no cynical cash in - quickly dispelled after the the first episode of the first season. One of the best series on the air.

The saga continues
Anyone who is familiar with this excellent show needs no introduction but for those not familiar with it I highly recommend it. From the makers of the Emmy winning TV series Breaking Bad comes this just as good if not better prequal to it. Greed, fraud, scheming, drama, murder and yes humor are all what make this show memorable. Highly recommend it and look forward to the upcoming season.

Great entertaining show
If you’ve haven’t seen this show. from the outside looking in, it seems boring but once you watch it, it has some of the best characters I’ve ever watched and the story is tight and focused.

The Bridge Between Jimmy and Saul
Continues the BCS story. The first season without Chuck, although he does appear in a couple of flashbacks. This season also marks the first appearance of Lalo. This is the season where Saul tries to find his place in the world after the loss of his law license, and details his efforts to get it back and resume his lawyering. Not the best season--a bridge between Jimmy under the shadow of his brother Chuck and the beginning of his persona as the full Saul Goodman--but Season 4 is a necessary and effective evolution of the Better Call Saul story.

Best season so far! RIP Chuck
It’s Saul or bust after Jimmy’s older brother and law mentor died in a house fire that Chuck intentionally started (Jimmy later figures out it wasn’t an accident.) Mike is getting closer to Gus via Hector & Nacho, walking a dangerous yet familiar line. Nacho decides he must NOT let the cartel run his fathers business as a front for crime. He devised an ingenious plan to get rid of Don Hector, thus saving his family’s legitimate business. Nacho has switched Hector’s heart meds, but after a failed attempt - Hector still lives...minus a voice, but with a memorable “ding”.

Terrific acting by all. Clever plots. I have enjoyed all previous seasons, but reckon this one is the best, so far. Sorry when it ended. Had to start viewing my Breaking Bad discs to fill the void.
