Amazing product. Have used this for many DIY projects when it comes to flooring. I have used this to lay Vinyl, underlay, moisture barrier underlay & assist with laying carpet where carpet grippers were hard to put in place. Many reviews upset with the product which is a shame as they have miss read the advertisingThis product is NOT to be stuck on top of a carpet, it can be used to firmly stick a rug to hard flooring but I wouldn’t unless you’re never going to wash your rug! This type is really quite sticky. It is quite messy to even cut it. It is that sticky. I had a very expensive thick carpet fitted and wanted to put my colourful rug over it to protect it because the carpet was so thick and the rug travelled across the room over the course of the week. I tried a fleece backing option first of all, but this did not really help so I opted for the tape. The rug still travelled across the carpet, but took longer to do so, but because of the tape it then made it harder to move the rug back to the position. I wanted it in. In the end I decided to do without a rug because it was just too much hassle as I had a large heavy coffee table on the rug, and it still moved. On removing the rug where the tape was did pull up the carpet fibres and you could see a visible line where the tape had been. I had read all the reviews so I had been quite careful with the tape and just done it round the edge of the rug if I’ve done it all across the centre of the rug as well. Maybe it wouldn’t of travelled quite so much but also if I need to take the rug up it would’ve ruined much bigger areas of the carpet. It has to be said after a couple of months and regular hoovering, the Pilling on the carpet is not as obvious.

Great stuff, really sticky so make sure you have it in the right place because it holds well. Good value for money. Stops my rug moving about so it’s a winner for me.

So far so good. Stuck very well and mat has not moved all day. Quite tricky to get backing tape off. You need longish nails.

This is a double-sided carpet tape meant to keep rugs and carpets firmly in place without leaving any sticky mess behind. I grabbed it to stop my living room rug from sliding around on the wooden floor—basic home use.The tape definitely has strong adhesion and sticks well initially. It held my rug mostly put, which is good. But after a couple of weeks, I noticed it starting to lose grip in some spots, especially where there’s more foot traffic. Also, the width at 21mm felt a bit narrow to cover enough surface area for really heavy rugs. I had to use quite a bit to make sure the corners didn’t curl up.I appreciate the no-residue claim because when I pulled up the tape later, it didn’t leave a gross sticky film, which is a big plus. But overall, it’s not the ultimate solution for heavy-duty or high-traffic areas. Works fine for light to moderate use.If you want a quick, affordable rug grip without fuss, it’ll do the job, but don’t expect miracles on super slippery or thick carpets. It’s fine, but I was hoping for something a bit more durable and wider for the price.

Amazingly sticky, just perfect for those impossible tasks, in my case sticking fabric to "industrial" carpet, rear wall of car cabin. Utterly amazing, brilliant, the very best product of it's type. Hint, to separate inner layer run a craft knife, as an inch long light cut, ease blade into cut and lift the backing paper, very easy, very quick, no messing around with edges that won't lift!!I will only use this stuff in the future.

I bought this tape to stop my rug walking around on the carpet. Works perfectly!! A week after it has been attached to the rug and carpet and walked on a lot, it has not moved at all!! Good, strong, webbed double sided tape.
