I bought this a while ago because I always have a backup. Hubs wear out on me after about a year, so I'm trying this one now and so far so good.

I don't why I didn't invest in this gadget earlier but I absolutely love it! It meets nearly all of my technological needs. Definitely worth it.

Changed jobs, and after years of using a Dell for work, I was sent a Macbook (USB C only). So I bought this dongle, which easily let me hook up my mouse (regular usb), external monitor (HDMI), etc., everything in my existing work-from-home setup. Some say the mouse moves a bit slower, but I haven't had that particular issue.

I’ve been using the product for about 6 months with two Apple devices: a MacBook Pro and and iPad mini. It works great for my purposes except for one thing and that’s why I put 4 instead of 5 stars. The HDMI works quite good, I use it on the iPad to connect it to a projector and on the MacBook for a second screen. It takes a bit to show the screen after the computer has gone to sleep but it’s not a big deal. The projector works perfect. The usb is a more annoying thing. Most of the time I use the HDMI plus one of the USB slots. The USB is connected to a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The keyboard works perfectly but the mouse not so well. It moves slower than my hand. When I connect additional drives and use all the slots,the drives work fine but the keyboard and the mouse get quite slow. If I disconnect the keyboard and mouse then its all fine

My company upgraded my 5 year old Macbook to one that only had USB-C inputs, which made my home office peripherals incompatible. With this hub, I can easily hook up my monitor via an HDMI cord, my wireless keyboard and my mouse and still have a couple ports leftover for whatever I need. I also appreciate that they included a USB-C input on the hub so that you're not actually losing an input.My only quibble is that I have my laptop up on a stand and the cord on the hub is a little short so it doesn't lay flat on the desk, but this is extremely minor and doesn't affect my work at all.I could have gotten a few different adapters from IT for free, but this does everything I need it to do in a small package with no extra features I don't need. I don't mind spending a bit out of pocket to keep my desk from being any more cluttered than it needs to be.

I just purchased a MacBook Pro and this little fancy gadget allows me to take pictures/videos/music and much more from another computer. We have a portable dvd player and I can use this to watch dvds. I love it and as for the price it is very reasonable for what this item can do. The package that it came in tells me they really care for the protection of their product for the buyer. Very impressed. I haven't needed tech support but they sent me an email to let me know that they were there if I needed any help. Great to know.

I bought this when the pandemic started and we had to work from home. I've never had a major issue with it. I plug in my monitor, a USB lamp, and a monitor and they work well. I will say that for any USB plugged into it (charger, mouse) it does run slow but it works.

I ordered this product first because it had all the ports that I needed. I often use my notebook computer at my desk hooked up to a large monitor as well as a separate hard drive. This works very well for me yet I can take the notebook with me when needed. At first I had some questions about the product and how to use it. The seller was very responsive and contacted me right away. All my questions were resolved quickly. The second reason I selected this product is that it is attractive and the color matches my new notebook computer. Happy purchase all around.
