Disappointed
Alrighty. So. I have been in search of a good quality work boot as I work in a kitchen, and I find that women’s work boots are 1 difficult to come by and 2 often crazy narrow. I’ve got a wide foot, so I turned to a men’s boot. Blundstone came highly recommended! I looked at a few types and styles and brands of boots but finally settled on this one. First pair I ordered was too small so I returned them and exchanged them for a size up. Initially they felt good but I soon realized the toe box is too small. It irritates my baby toes on both feet and my toes go numb from being so cramped! As I mentioned, I work in a kitchen so a slip resistant shoe is key for me, these boots were listed as being slip resistant just like any work boot/safety shoe/kitchen shoe. Well that’s proven false very quickly. If I even step on a slightly damp surface I slid. I’ve escape two large falls so far, but I’ve never slipped so much in a work shoe before at all. I really wanted to love these boots because look at the heckin price! I might try to resell these online since they’re gently used at this point, but they are just not working out for me.

wide and you feel like wearing a pair slippers
Blundstones are the most confortable boots i ever own, its my third pair of blunnies. For some reasons, they are light, durable, wide and you feel like wearing a pair slippers.I bought my first pair in Australia, the 990 steel toe, they still in good shape after two years, the sole is worn out due of my industrial job environment. These 179, will be also super comfortable, i know it! they feels as comfortable as soon as i tried them fresh from the boxI'm a service technician working on packaging machine so i stay up for about 60-70 hours a week with them on concrete floor, and no problems at all.I also own a pair 550 with the leather liner, soft toe and also super comfortable. The funny thing about blundstone is that model never change since they started to make it in 1800's

Very comfortable shoes
I am a young woman who works in manufacturing. I have problems with my feet (no arch at all they are so flat and bunions) and I walk on average 5-7 miles a day, so I needed comfortable shoes. These fit the bill. I took out the original insoles and put in some New Balance motion control ones (it’s great that they have enough room for that). I’ve been wearing them even on days I don’t work because they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I got the 6.5 and I normally wear a women’s 9 wide. I highly recommend these.

These boots are comfortable and lightweight and the top seems real durable
I am a die caster, I ladle molten metal into a machine all day and need boots that can slip off in a hurry if need be. These boots are comfortable and lightweight and the top seems real durable. the soles however melt like crazy when they come into contact with something real hot. I've never had boots whose soles melted so easily. They are pretty slippery on oil as well. Having said that however i'm just more careful where I step. Even with the drawbacks because they are well made, light and comfortable I would buy these again.

Perfect for EMS work
I work 12 and 24 hour shifts and I love these boots. I have replaced the insole, but I do that with the majority of my shoes/boots. I love how they slip off easily. They have worn very well soon, though I was worried about the sole lasting. I typically wear Danner boots, and those can be resoled, while these can't. I would say that is probably the only downfall. These are not steel toe, but have a rigid toe. It is plenty protective for what I am doing.

Good work shoes
Good shoes. They fit well but will be better after a little breaking in. Excellent grip on oily decks. I would like to find them with composite toe caps.

nice boot
have been wearing for a week in a kitchen , put orthotics in but it made my toe slightly touch. very comfortable shoe , I really like the way they make me walk, as opposed to birkenstock shoes no shuffleing , they are not as slip resistant as Birkenstock but maybe because the shoe is still new, overall I am very happy with this shoe , I do like the still toe and bumper toe Gard.

Best boots
This is my 3rd pair of Bluntstones in 10 years. They hold up great and are good quality. I work construction and blow through most shoes in about 2 years. Bluntstones are the only ones I get 3-4 years out of. ( I rotate boots weekly)
