Cleans your fruit and veg well
I've been using this veggie wash for years. It works extremely well. I bought the gallon container and pour the stuff into a spray bottle. You spray it onto your fruit or veggies until they're wet (not sopping, but more than just damp). Then rub them good and rinse. I find that all my fruits and veggies taste cleaner, no dirt or leftover residues from whatever they've been exposed to.Great stuff! Makes your healthy fruit and veg even healthier to eat!

The best organic fruit and vegetables wash
I use veggie wash not only on all veggies and fruits but for example chicken wings before cooking or any meats that appear needing some cleanliness then rinse. Potatoes for potato salad for example, I place them in a large pot, cover with cold water and 1/2 cup of Veggie Wash and let them soak, brush, then rinse. I purchase the gallon size veggie wash from Amazon so I always have plenty on hand. Save your small spray bottle and refill for the quick and easy jobs which sits on the back of the sink for easy access. I even bought and sent my brother (a serious cook) the gallon size to him as a “gift” and continues to do so which he really appreciates and now he is hooked on veggie wash.

Amazing and versatile cleaning product, but recent price increase is ridiculous.
I don't use Veggie Wash for vegetables. Instead, I use it as a general-purpose food-safe cleanser. I use it to clean butcher block tables, wooden cutting boards, the coffee maker, the top of the stove, and countless other places. It works extremely well on kitchen grease, and it is free of any of the cloying artificial scents of most commercial cleaning products. Recently, I had miraculous results removing spilled diesel fuel (!!) out of a suede leather coat (!!!) in the washing machine. It took half a gallon to do this, but Veggie Wash succeeded in removing the wretched diesel oil smell where two hot washes with Tide had failed. It even restored the nap of the leather. Overall I am a big fan of Veggie Wash. However, I am upset about the recent price increase. Looking at my previous orders, I paid $25.98/gal in Oct of 2017, $26.42/gal in October of 2021, and $30.42/gal in Aug of 2022 but today (September 16th, 2022) it is selling for $50.17/gal. We all know about supply chain problems and inflation, but a 65% price increase in 30 days is just ridiculous. Beaumont Products, you are letting down your customers.

Once you use this & see what comes off your berries, you will never skip it again!
While must things like tomatoes, cucumbers and other smooth skinned items I just spray and rinse, with things like berries, I actually fill the sink with water and add this. I am always shocked at just how much dirt is left in the sink. Generally I do a second wash in just cold water after I remove the greenery around the top of strawberries if I have not done it on the first wash because dirt and other pollutants get tracked under the greenery at the top. All types of berries have rough surfaces which just trap the chemicals sprayed on them as well as dirt. Neither of these are good for you and your family and not removing it could prove dangerous to your help. When you use this and the water is literally brown and the silt on the bottom of the sink is heavy you will never eat berries without soaking them in a sink of water with this veggie wash added.I find with apples and similar things which have been waxed where that wax can hold contaminants that scrubbing them with a brush saturated with the veggie wash will work to remove the wax which is again potentially harmful as it hold the chemicals frequently sprayed on them.Unlike others this one doesn't leave an aftertaste on the things you wash. While you want the fruit and veggies clean, you do not want to leave spray wash on them either as it can make them taste a bit funky. This is a good product and I would highly recommend it if you are considering purchasing a spray wash......and if you are not, you should!

Would you rather eat clean and healthy or dirty and sludgy??
Ok, so there I was, another sleepless night starring at the ceiling listening to my girlfriend snore away, my mind was aimlessly going back in the archives of my memory (which is a scary place of useless information) and I remembered this old infomercial advertising this wash stuff for your fruits and vegetables. So... as curiosity got me, as it usually does, I immediately go to Amazon and begin my search! Well hot damn low and behold they still make stuff to wash your stuff! Although it's not the one from the infomercial, however the reviews were great! So as bad habbits set forth and I order a gallon and wait! Holy Shiny & clean fruit Batman!! Let me tell you, I was very hopefull, but yet little skeptical on how well this Veggie Wash was going to work! I proceeded to wash every fruit and vegetable in the house preparing for my Daughter's Birthday party. Take a look at my pictures, both were washed off with just water first, and you can obviously see the difference, absolutely amazing! And to see the amount of sludge and how dirty the wash was after cleaning the fruits especially, absolutely disgusting just thinking that's normally eaten! Everyone asked where the grapes came from they were crisp and delicious, and they didn't leave that usual bitter after taste in your mouth like a dog licking it's rear! So fresh and clean fruits! Two big thumbs up Veggie Wash! And good thinking with the hole plug in the jug to keep it from leaking during shipping, well thought out!! So don't just take my word for it, spend a few bucks, try it, you won't be disappointed, the taste difference in your fruits and vegetables alone will convince you, and if that doesn't, look in the bottom of the wash pot when your done and think about eating what you see... So hears to eating clean and healthy fruits and vegetables as they were intended!!

Removing the wax
I have always used baking soda and vinegar for fruits and veggies, and it has never fully removed everything. This wash is amazing, the bowls shown are from organic blueberries and organic peppers. It completely removed the wax coating. The best part is you don’t have to soak for an extended period of time! Love this product!!!
