Reminds me of porridge
I just love this Oatmeal, but takes longer than 3 minutes. However, it is worth the little bit of extra time. It is just delicious.

Very good but high priced.
Let me say upfront that there is no better oatmeal than McCann's. Nice texture, easy to fix in microwave in 90 seconds, goes well with milk, fruit and nuts. Other brands are just not the same. The main drawback for me is the price. 16 oz box for about $17.00 is rather expensive. Prices go up but just six years ago I could get six boxes for $22 and two years ago I got two boxes for $14.00. Maybe it is supply and demand working. But in any case I will be eating less McCann's.

My favorite quick-cooking oatmeal
I have tried many oatmeal brands, but this one stands out. It has a nice texture--not mushy and not too firm--that I've found nowhere else. The flavor is excellent and it's easy to prepare. It's so much better than other oatmeals that it almost needs a different name!
