Does not fit Inspiron 5100.
It did not fit my sell Inspiron 5100. It was about an inch short. Then the charge tip fell off! Meh.

Well made power jack.
The cable is a bit heavier and longer than the original in the Dell Inspiron 13. It took a bit of doing to position the cable to where the lid snapped back on, but the laptop charged just fine after I installed the jack.
