Nice flash drive.
The flash drive works well - fast transfer rate! Very handy to have both the "A" and "C" connections.

Bargain price for portable dual USB C storage!
For FIVE DECADES I have endeavored to keep up with technology and software applications. Yes-I am that old. But as much as I use Excel, Oracle Crystal Ball for scenario and Monte Carlo econometrics, various media apps (music and audio courses), word processing, PowerPoint and what all else, I am still on a BUDGET. I carry a Samsung A15 with me with 2 SIM cards (one for business and one for personal). But my Android phone can take 2 SIM cards, or 1 SIM card and 1 SD memory card, so basically, my storage capacity was lowered by not having access to an SD card in my Smartphone. That's where this Aiibe 128GB USB C dual flash entered the picture. It gave me the portable space to pull my courses (20 GB), to save room on my Android phone, while still allowing me to tote my learning materials around with me as I work from wherever. (Because you never know when the urge to learn the latest developments in Astrophysics or Medieval European History will arise.) And the dual USB C drive lets me easily toggle between my phone and my HP Omen 14-core notebook PC. And I can navigate our biosphere confident that I have some extra space to store complex financial models, PowerPoint presentations (backup), or the tunes I need for my travels, workouts, and bike-riding excursions. One drawback - file transfer from my Notebook-PC to the flash topped out at about 10 MBs, constantly oscillating but mostly hovering around 1 MBs. But for this price? I can tolerate the extra 30 seconds or so to move a 1GB folder from pc to flash drive.

i’m trying to warn you of how slow and horrible it was and pretty low storage
honestly, it was working good the first few days but I didn’t know that I was removing it in a wrong way plus to move files photos and videos into that USB flash drive it was super super slow. It’s a USB 2.0 please be careful of what you buy. It wasn’t the best look for other brands by at least a USB 3.0 or faster. Plus, it was super cheap for a reason. Oh it stopped working within a few days because of how I was removing it without enjecting it through my Mac. it was pretty lightweight. The quality was pretty made. The use wasn’t the best please don’t buy this. I will never buy it again. I would buy from another place. By the way I bought it from another company another brand. by the way, the storage was completely cap. It actually was 8 GB. It’s never 128.

Extremely slow speeds after ~4GB transferred.
Got this on sale during Black Friday, since 128GB for $10 was basically double the capacity of other drives of the same price. Initial test with h2testw showed it was able to write to all 128GB in 5.5hrs, validate in 2hrs with an average speed of 6MB/s. I reformatted to FAT32 and tested copying over a lot of files, and at first, initial copy speed was about 25 MB/s, fairly normal for USB 2.0, but then the transfer speed kept dropping to 0 bytes per second, despite the Resource Monitor showing 100% disk usage. The transfer speed would occasionally jump back up in order to write some data, but would drop back down very often. Strangely enough, connecting it to a Virtual Machine and copying files from there appeared to help with the pauses, but the overall speed was still terrible since the pausing was still happening. Temperature of flash drive appeared fine, so perhaps it's an issue with the USB controller or chipset.Since the first 4GB copied or so seemed to go fairly quickly, I tested reformatting to NTFS and copied over a 5GB file. The first 4GB only took about 3 minutes, for an average speed of 25 MB/s, but then the remaining 1GB took over an hour to complete.Overall the reading of the drive seems fine, but the constant pausing when attempting to write to the drive make it unusable if you want to quickly copy over data, especially since that was why I had wanted a high capacity flash drive.
