3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 4200 FC

Had a slight leak in the caulking of our “new to us” camper so we removed the caulking and used this #M Marine Sealent. Cure time was fairly fast, just as advertised. We were expecting major storms the next several days and after 6 straight days of hard rain we were pleased there was no leaking. The application was easy. I recommend cutting the tip at an angle to get a small beading. It did dry with slight coloration. It is not a white/white. I felt the cost was a bit much, but it’s the first time I’ve bought sealant of this nature. That said…. The price I spent on this single tube- and the excellent job it did at stopping the leak was priceless! Will buy again when/ if the need arises in any other locations on the camper. So in that sense, GREAT value for our money!!

Works as expected

This came packed between 2 12volt batteries. Needless to say fedup X handled with care( that they would ruin whatever was inside.) And that they accomplished as well as a professional demo team could! I used a spatula for what I could but there was a lot of waste, I will be buying at home dep. unless Amazon teaches the shipping packer of theirs how to pack, Amazon should have their people put in a shipped or packed by slip to get feedback on an employee that doesn't care about the quality of their work. Other than that the product was Great!

Fast shipping and quality product.

Any 3M product I've use including this is great. Amazons pricing and availability not so much. Large price swings every few days / weeks and same day, next day, 2 day and next week options come up randomly. I'm sure as always they have an explanation as to why that the lawyers have written. Not to mention the tubes that came in envelopes were dented beyond use and a missing applicator tip on one. But when delivered dent free for 22 bucks its great.

Works well for underwater projects fast cure time. Little messy to work with. Recommend gloves.

Great product!

4200 is some great stuff. Nice because it's not permanent but still seals great. The bottom of the 10oz tube has a metal opener on it. Basically, it looks like the top of a grease gun. They do this to provide a better seal on the bottom of the tube so the product doesn't get ruined while sitting. Remove the tab and the bottom has a plunger for a standard caulking gun application. I wanted to put this here because I was confused by the seal, so hope it will help others.

Great product ! Easy to apply. Used it to repair a fibreglass trailer. Results were better than expected. Easily sanded off the excess adhesive.
