We like uncut White Mountain Bread from Publix. It is a large round loaf. It is a pain to cut it up into small size to make toast, but with this awesome toaster it can do a whole long slice without difficulty!! And if you want to do the 4 slices of regular bread it can do that too. This was exactly what we'd been looking for. And it has a removable crumb plate to help keep them in check. It is easy to pull out, clean & put back in the toaster. It toasts evenly and with the dial you can choose how dark. It has a reheat button in case you didn't get it out & buttered in time. It even has a rack that pops up on top, which is cool, but we haven't really used it.

Great price. Fast delivery. The absolute best toaster if you're a bagel lover like me. They slip right in; no more having to mash them down to fit in those narrow slots. Now I can enjoy a big fluffy tasty toasted bagel every morning. Definitely recommend.

Nice quality toaster for the price. I’ve been using it about three weeks now and am very happy with it. I find it toasts my sourdough and other artisanal breads very nicely. It does have a fairly robust pop up action which is fine for heavier breads, but if you are toasting light weight commercial bread, it just might pop it right out of the toaster. I don’t like my toast dark, so between the 2 & 3 setting works great for me. It does put a fair amount of heat out the top, but I do not find it so hot that it is a concern for damage to the underside of upper cabinets. The crumb tray pulls out easily and cleans with a quick wipe. I put the toaster through three toasting cycles upon unpacking to burn off any manufacturing oils or chemicals. It did put off some odor which I vented by opening a window, but I experienced no actual smoke. I do recommend since this is a long slot toaster that you look at the instruction booklet for proper bread placement for toasting less than 4 slices of smaller commercial bread to get optimal toasting results. Two larger/long slices of artisanal bread fit and toast beautifully. Some reviewers have complained of uneven toasting and I have a feeling it’s because they aren’t placing smaller pieces of bread where the manufacturer recommends. The pop up warming rack is nice for things like left over biscuits, scones or croissants. All in all I’m very happy with it and hope it lasts a long time

Toaster looks nice, fits well into the space. Does a great job of toasting. The thing is though, it does too good of a job. Even on the very lowest setting it sometimes toasts too much, especially with any kind of slim-sliced bread. They need to dial down the temperature another notch to get that fifth star. I can't imagine toasting on the higher settings; you'd set off your smoke alarm.

This toaster makes me very happy. You should get it. Here's my recent "toaster journey." My previous (expensive) toaster stopped working sometimes. Unpredictably and inexplicably. And then it would work again a few days later. I had to cut the ends off my bread machine bread (which is the staple in my bread box since the pandemic) but I rationalized that I'd save a few calories by wasting a sixth of all the bread I baked. Sigh. I finally gave up on it and ordered another one from Amazon. Its slots were even shorter than the expensive one. Its touchscreen controls (which were situated right below the toast lever, meaning you couldn't see them unless you happened to be 40" tall or shorter) felt cheap. And the settings always went back to their own default, not my default, if the power was removed. It had a countdown timer (why???) that felt like just another thing that was going to fail prematurely. Decided to get this for these reasons: long slots, simple analog controls, elegant appearance, high ratings, and good price. I'm happy on all accounts! The darkness setting is intuitive and consistent. The long slots accommodate the longest slice of bread out of my bread machine (without my having to cut it in half... I mean, I've got eggs cooking! I ain't got time for all that!) This toaster also handles the little tiny slices of cinnamon raisin bread that the 93-year-old lady next door buys me sometimes because I fix her computer. "Did you know Windows 10 support is ending?" she'll ask, about once a week. "Yes, I've been told that." The long slots, of course, accommodate multiple slices of more traditionally-dimensioned breads. Just remember to keep things as close to the center as possible for optimum toastification. The only thing I can't see a need for is the little rack that can be erected with the push of a lever above the slots. I guess I'll have to buy a beignet, or a scone, or a cruller, or some other kind of specialized bakery product to try that feature out. I don't know. I've never had any of those products so I don't know if they're good candidates. Get this toaster.

Works great. I had bought a cheaper 2 slice standard and didn't like it got fed up and bought this. I like that it fits perfect in the microwave cart and even large slices of Rye breads get toasted... I used to have to watch larger slices.. since they didn't fit in toasters I had to flip to other end trying not to burn the center of the toast... at best it left one side a bit less toasted... This toaster doesn't have that problem.... I get evenly toasted breads... if the darkness level got moved and I didn't know so bread is getting too dark I can press the eject button... Not all toasters have that option although it's common cheaper ones usually don't have that. Very happy with this purchase.

Love the new toaster and the slim design, doesn't take up a lot of counter space. Nicely tucked by the wall. Looks beautiful and works great.

Seems to toast nicely. I have only done a couple slices of homemade sour dough bread. Set it to 4 and had to pop it down for a bit more (should I have gotten a breville??LOL). Came out great. It appears a bit deeper than our old two-slice, and definitely longer. If it stands up, I will be quite happy with it. There seemed to be some confusion on delivery dates, with mixed signals from the carrier and the amazon site, but it did arrive on the last day of the delivery window.
