Quality headphone cable (ATH M50X/M50X-BT2)
This cable is well constructed and does not affect the sound quality in any way. Most importantly, it fits my headphones (Audio Technida M50X-BT2, I assume M50X will work too) perfectly.I have previously tried a cable which had a nylon braided exterior, which had one large downside: the coarse material caused sounds from contact with the cable to be much more frequent/loud. In my case, whenever I moved my head just slightly, the cable would brush against my shirt and make a loud noise. Because this cable has a rubberized exterior (I think PVC), it does not cause nearly as loud sounds on contact, which is a HUGE plus. It is also much less stiff than a nylon braided cable, making it a lot easier to manipulate. In all, I am very pleased with my purchase!

Overall a good quality product with some minor flaws.
Overall a good quality product for the price. I got the 4 feet one for my Philips Fidelio X1. However I have a few suggestions that would really improve this product in my opinion.1) The metal Jacket on the 3.5 mm straight connector could be a little shorter. It sticks out of whatever you plug it in a little too much to be inconvenient. Moreover, it poses a greater danger of damaging the jack in which its plugged in.2) There is no flexibility in the cable where it terminates into the 3.5mm straight male connector metal jacket. Thus any movement or force in the cable causes the the connector to rotate in the jack its plugged in causing the connection to loosen up over time.3) The quality of finish at the 90 degree 3.5mm male connector side leaves something to be desired. There is a slight misalignment and a visible gap between the metal jacket and the plastic behind it on the 90 degree 3.5mm male connector side. This ruins the overall quality feel of the product. A little attention to details would have taken care of this.4) The cable is thick and of good quality, however its a little too stiff. I am comparing it with the 4 feet 2.5mm to 3.5mm staright cable of my ATH M50X BL. Comparing the two the Mediabridge cable is less flexible and hard while the other one is much more flexible and soft. Its not a deal breaker for me but would have been nice to have a more flexible and softer cable.Overall a good quality product that serves me well, and I am sure would do the same for you. However, if it had addressed the concerns listed above, it would have been the perfect product. I am not sure about 5 but it definitely deserves 4 stars at the least.

a high quality, disappointing audio cable
I got this Mediabridge audio cable to connect my headphones to my laptop and music player. The cable is made very sturdy and passes the audio signal with perfect clarity. However there is a big issue that's kind of a deal breaker for me. Why do you buy a right angle cable? Well one of the reasons is that you want a cable that doesn't stick out far. A cable with a low profile works much better in your pocket and makes it harder to bang something against the cable.Well this Mediabridge cable sticks out like a sore thumb! Look at the picture of it plugged into my music player. It just sticks out way to far. I believe I am going to return this cable for a low profile cable. If none of that matters to you, then this cable works great and will suit you fine. It's not for me though.

Planned Obsolencence?
I bought this to use with my phone. The ends are thin and long enough to use while the phone case is on and one end is a right angle, which, theoretically, means that it won't succumb to the typical breakage that a straight end does when it's plugged in to your phone in your pocket. Well, initially, it works well. It serves it's purpose. Unfortunately, it only lasts for about 3 to 4 months before the end starts to fail and the audio starts to cut out. I'm currently on my third purchase. It is the only cord I've found that has the dimensions/features previously explained, so I will continue to purchase one every 3 to 4 months until I get a different phone/case or find a cord a little more durable. At 6 bucks a pop though, I guess you get what you pay for.

Very nice cable
I bought this cable to use with my Fostex rp20rp mk3 phones. The cable fits into the cable outlet on the phones ok but after using them for a while I did notice some cut out on the right side cup so I filed the right angle down a little at the phones so it would make a better connection(just enough room)so far I would maybe say that it tighted up the bass a smidge, not quite as blotted and the sound is a little more open/bigger soundstage and maybe...just maybe added some more volume to phones compared to the stock cable, but that could also be because the music is a tad more up front/impactfull. The cable is thicker then most stock cables/alot compared to some portable phones but I am using these at home so its a welcome feature. It is a little stiffer cable as well but not a big deal for me.We will see how it holds up but doesnt appear like it will give me any problems. So far I am happy with this cable and is definitely worth the money

best durability for the $. Great for ATH-m50x
Durable cord, works great for daily headphone use, and stores easy by just coiling it and throwing it into your bag.I have had issues with finding alternatives for the ATH-m50x cords at a reasonable price, I learned you can remove the "locking" mechanism in the headphone jack, then use a 2.5 male to 3.5 female adapter. Doing this makes your headphone plug stick out a bit more than usual, so a 90 degree male 3.5 jack was PERFECT for making sure this was still very useful.A LOT of the cords you come across have issues with durability. The manufacturers need to compete across price, and user rating, this creates a tough competition to have a durable cord that is cheap and durable enough to have very pleased customers. This is true for 3.5mm cords but also iphone charging cords or anything else. This cord has succeeded well where many fail. I highly recommend this specific cord and no look a likes.
