Are the step and direction command inputs ttl 5v or can they be 24v for the dafurui tb6600?

They are 5v max input and are optocoupled style meaning the input operates a LED to pin diode or Photo resister I am pretty sure it is Photoresistor. They can be TTL or Cmos positive logic.
