rivet failure
Cool lunchbox. Good size. Throw it in the back pack and my PBand J doesn't get smooshed.However not as well made as the boxes we used to carry back in the sixties. Thinner metal I thinkHad a rivet failure the first week - easy to pop another rivet in though with a rivet tool, or if you don'thave one you could put it together with a screw and nut which in the long run might hold up better.

Great lunch box ruined by the vendor
Beautiful lunch box. Perfect for a gift for any Beatles fan.But i wonder why the vendor put a "Thank you for shopping with us" sticker over the yellow submarine. Now i have a great lunch box with a horrible glue stain that is very difficult to take out without damaging the colors. What a lack of common sense.

Beatles Lunch box
This lunch box has great graphics and is a good size. However, it doesn't close tightly and is somewhat flimsy, probably because the hinge isn't long enough and leaves open gaps.

Great Product!!
I bought this for my daughters 11th birthday she carries it to school everyday. Very durable, plenty of room for her lunch and she LOVES it!!

Disappointing
The lunchbox was scratched and dented and one of the rivets on the handle was broken off so the handle was hanging loose. It was a gift for my boyfriend and I didn't look closely at it before I wrapped it. I was so disappointed that I gave a scratched, dented,and broken gift. Now I need to find the paperwork and go through the hassle of returning it.

Bad Product, HORRIBLE Amazon.com Customer Service
I ordered this for my son's 9th birthday. Unfortunately, one of the rivets was missing on the handle, and it broke immediately. The replacement also had the had the same, exact problem. I finally figured out how to call customer service; it's very difficult to find this info on Amazon. The agent was very helpful, said he wanted to make sure I did not receive another defective tote, so had me describe in great detail what the problem was. He even contacted the warehouse and asked them to examine the tote. The customer service agent had me wait a day to order replacement so he could sent a note out to the warehouse. Well, GUESS WHAT! The tote had the same EXACT problem again, now very much to my son's disappointment since I had been assured the problem had been fixed. I took photos of the problem to send to customer service so they could see what I was talking about. The customer service agent told me they couldn't accept photos! Imagine that, a company as large as Amazon doesn't have the "capability" to accept an email photo?!!! The agent told me *I* could write a letter to corporate office, and send the photos there. Isn't that the job of customer service? They are getting paid to solve problems with defects, Not I. The agent told me he'd "research" the problem, and send me an email after his shift ended. I received nothing. In the meantime, the first customer service agent I spoke with left a message on my cell phone to see if the product was OK. When I tried to get back in touch with him today, I was told that there is no way to do that, meaning I have to explain the problem, for the 3rd time to the current agent. I was again told that I could not send a photo of the problem. I asked for a supervisor, who told me that my description was sufficient. My argument is: obviously not, since I'm getting the same defect with this product. I was also told this product had been pulled from the site (for the second time) for investigation. I see that it is still being offered. My advise: BUYER BEWARE. While the tote is darling, CUSTOMER SERVICE is HORRIBLE! I"m extremely disappointed in Amazon.com, and had expected much more from such a large company.

Got this as a gift for my husband. it came in a few days earlier than I expected, and was in good shape. Its sturdy and just flat out fun

I use this lunchbox as a case for a bass drum microphone, and it's perfect!
