Do you source any of the ingredients in this product from China?

A question obviously directed toward the manufacturer. However, Amazon has asked if I can answer. To my knowledge, Horbaach doesn't source from China; however, NOW brand is directly from China, although they won't say so. Further, the 3,000mg on the front label is deceiving. These capsules are 1,000mg, so you must take 3 to get the 3,000mg dosage.

What is the source of gelatin

I contacted the company and the source of gelatin is beef. You can call their customer service and they can confirm this.

Does this work right away for sleep or does it take awhile?

It is not a sleeping pill. It is a protein that alters neuro transmitters in your brain. The effect is greater relaxation not sleep in about an hour. Relaxation helps sleep but doesn’t cause sleep. Some people mix this with chamomile tea and a magnesium powder. Sweet dreams.

Is the silica in the ingredients, a packaging ingredient, or is it included in the capsule?

It’s a small package like the one in vitamins.
