The BEST book on statistics that I have ever read (& I’ve read a lot)
I have a MS in applied data science and I’ve read a lot of statistics books. This book is by far the BEST I’ve ever read. I LOVE it. Larry Hatcher makes the concepts easy to understand, he breaks down and explains formulas, and he provides excellent examples. I can’t say enough how great this book is. I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning about statistics.

Awesome book. Everyone must buy this.
Great details. If you have basic idea about statistics, this book is like story reading. I have read almost 30% of it starting from start. This will help you to recall what you know previously and learn new things if you do not have idea about it.Each chapter starts with an analysis to a problem, and then ends with what does that mean and how to interpret the analysis.

Best statistics book I've ever had
Best statistics book I've ever had. I have it at work with me as a reference and read it at home to constantly refresh my memory of some basic concepts as well. I cannot agree more with the other comments - the author explains difficult stats concepts very well and in an easy-to-understand way. I have statistics books with all the crazy equations too but I always come back to this book because for me understanding the concepts is much more important than being able to calculate the numbers which I can easily do with software anyway.

Good book for intermediate statistics.
This book provides some very interesting insights into statistics. Yet, I wouldn't argue that the content covered corresponds to advanced statistics. It is particularly interesting for its references. It is definitely a good source for those looking for an approach to quantitative data analysis that minimizes mathematical concepts.

BUY THIS!!
I absolutely love this book. I am a psychology student. I needed to review statistics and learn more advanced statistics for my graduate degree so I bought this book after reading some of it at the library (I wanted to write all over it and I couldn't do that with the library's book). This book is so well written and clear I am amazed. If you need to review some basic statistics in order to perform more advanced procedures in research, this is the book for you. Thank you Dr. Hatcher for his book.

My go-to statistics book
I’m not a fan of statistics but this book made it much easier to comprehend! My quantitative statistics professor suggested this book and I used it more than the actual course textbook. It’s very well written. I definitely recommend this book to anyone taking statistics.

As expected from a book by Hatcher
I am a huge fan of Dr. Hatcher's books. His book - A step by step approach of using SAS for factor analysis and structural equation modeling- was my self-study guide to learn SEM in SAS.This book is not an exception. A very well written, and easy to follow book for everyone.

MIddle range for clarity and readability
I am using this book as a textbook for a Doctoral-level Advanced Applied Research Methods class. The writing is not as clear as some others but it is more practical and readable than many older statistical methods books. Images are clear. Examples are fine and practical.
