Wild Rose & Quince by Cath Kidston Manicure Set

I got this to take to the care home to do Mum's hands and nails. She's a huge Cath Kidston fan and she was enamoured with the set the moment she saw it. The emery board made quick work of any sharp edges to her nails and the hand cream soaked not her skin easily, as well as mine. It left behind a lovely scent and she reported that her hands remained quite soft for awhiles after. Lovely packaging and good quality stuff inside.

The set looks lovely and all items in it are very good - hand cream rubs in well, good emery board, cuticle cream goes on well.The packaging is very pretty and would make a super present.However the rose scent is very, very strong - too much for me!

Hand cream makes my hands feel incredibly velvety soft. Cuticle cream is nice, I am sure it will do me some good if I keep using it. The pot is generously filled. The nail file is OK, pretty but basic sandpaper file, nothing amazing. The packaging is lovely making it a nice gift set. Calling it a manicure set though is a bit of a stretch, could do with some other elements in the set . But all in all a nice gentle rose fragrance that is not overpowering enabling you to eat food with your hands and not ending up with scented food.

This set of Cath Kidston handcream, cuticle cream and nail file comes in a pretty but sturdy cardboard gift box (which I have already found another use for!). The handcream is nothing special although it rubs in well and the cuticle cream the same. The Wild Rose and Quince perfume for both is a bit overpowering for my taste although I am sure that many will like it. It would make a nice gift, although its not something that I would buy for myself, simply because I use too much handcream and this is only a very small size tube.

I am a big Cath Kidston fan and so love looking for new items to join my collection!The packaging is a really sturdy box, great to give as a gift to someone for a birthday, mother's day or just because! Inside is a tube of hand cream and a tube of cuticle cream. If I am honest I am not sure what the difference is but there are two tubes and they smell and feel nice on your hands and left them feeling lovely and soft, not greasy and with a pleasant aroma! There was also a couple of emery boards included, great size to be left in a hand bag or office drawer, for those nail disaster moments.

This Cath Kidson Manicure Set is beautifully presented in an attractive box containing a decorated emery board, 50mls hand-cream in a plastic screw top tube, and a glass pot containing 35mls of cuticle cream.The emery board is short but functional, although I find it a bit too rough – I prefer a fine salon style emery board. The hand-cream is lovely, perfumed very much of roses but the quince takes off that reminder of older ladies – roses with a bit of zing. The cream soaks in nicely and doesn't leave the hands greasy. The pot of cuticle cream is also nicely perfumed and is a little more oily than the hand-cream although being on the nails rather than the pads of fingers, the oiliness doesn't matter to handling things.All in all, this is a very attractive and functional gift set from a much loved quality name. I think I would find this to be a little expensive to buy for myself but as a gift item it is perfect.

This is an attractively boxed and presented gift set, ideal for anyone who likes the Cath Kidston brand and design. The hand cream absorbs well and the fragrance is pleasant without being overpowering. The size (50 ml) makes it ideal for travelling as it comes comfortably within the restrictions for liquids on board aircraft. The cuticle cream is a useful addition though I am always suspicious about these specialised creams and just how effective they are (time will tell!). The emery board is a very practical and pretty addition.This is a beautifully packaged gift item, not something one would buy for oneself, especially at £12, but I am sure it would delight any Cath Kidston fan.

This is a lovely presented set ideal for a gift. It comes in a sturdy card box which could be re-used on a dressing table for jewellry or make up. In the box you get an emery board, hand cream, and cuticle cream all in the Cath Kidston design. The hand cream and cuticle cream have a light floral fragrance and absorb well into the skin leaving hands soft and non greasy.. and are not tested on animals.

Solo trae dos cremas y una lima. Muy bonito el estuche pero esperaba algo más. Muy bien para los viajes.
