not very loud for the alarm clock. Runs very well on the water and keeps good time. Nice but not for an alarm.

Awesome clock. In PR we dont have electricity due to hurricane María. I recently bought the clock. It have alarm, just not for heavy sleepers like me. But will do the work.

Wonderful educational item :)
I bought this clock for my little sisters in the hope of educating them about energy. They were pretty excited to fill it up with water, which ultimately resulted in a happy eco-nerd. :)) All in all, the clock functions properly, and it looks great. I may order one for myself because I know it'll be an eye catcher(to some, I personally enjoy looking at it), but it appears the price has gone up since I last checked!

Weak Alarm
This is a neat clock, but a terrible alarm. You can barely hear the beep. Go for the cheaper water-powered clock that has no alarm instead. This product has no light, so don't expect to read the time when you awaken in the night.

This works great --IF you don't move it. I packed this clock away since I had to move and when I unpacked, numbers started to disappear and eventually just didn't show up... I ended up tossing it in the trash / recycle, so not really eco-friendly.

...this clock is very cute for a girl's room, the mechanics of water-power is very cool, however the alarm is not at all loud enough and it is def. not worth the money we paid for it-I paid extra for quicker shipping and it came 4 days later than it was supposed to, after Christmas, Eeeeks!... not very cool during the Holiday season

No backlight
I thought this would be a really good and eco-friendly replacement for my old and broken alarm clock, but when i tried to use it the first night i got it, i realized i couldn't see the time. this was a big issue for me because one of the main purposes of having an alarm clock on my night stand was to be able to check the time at night when my lights were turned off.
