The Bed That Made Me Feel Like Royalty (and a DIY Expert)
I didn’t think it was possible for a piece of furniture to change my life, but here we are. This king-sized masterpiece of modern design has transformed my bedroom into a palace of sleek sophistication. The built-in headboard? A game-changer. It's like my bed is constantly whispering, "You deserve this." Assembly was surprisingly easy for someone like me who once struggled to assemble a sandwich. The instructions were so clear I felt like a certified engineer by the end of it. Bonus points for shipping in one box—I didn’t know you could fit so much awesomeness in such a compact package! The metal frame is sturdier than my willpower during a pizza sale, and the slats are so secure they could probably survive a small earthquake. No box spring required, which is great because who has time for unnecessary layers in life? Oh, and the height? Perfect for my 8-foot ceiling. I added curtains for a "delicate and romantic look," and now my bed feels like a VIP cabana at a luxury resort. Final verdict: This bed is so good, my dog gave up his own bed to claim a corner of mine. If you’re on the fence, just buy it. You deserve to feel this fancy.

Metal Fort
I've been looking for a canopy bed for quite some time, and I kept coming back to this one over and over again. At first, I thought it looked too "IKEA" and "MALM-y", but the quality is far beyond what I imagined, and once dressed, it looks quite impressive, sturdy, and centers the bedroom. Design + Construction: So I read a few reviews before I purchased/assembled this beast. For those who say this is a 1-person job, you must also be a beast! This frame is 95% metal, 5% being these funky plastic connectors for the slates. But even the slates are metal! The instructions were pretty straightforward, just make sure you make note of all the steps (for example, you assemble the base frame upside down and you have to flip it before you attach it to the posts. I didn't and had to go back, and it was a pain). Any case, this is a 2-person job! Some of the reviews also mentioned that over time the bed starts to squeak and creak. I can understand why, as the bed is metal-on-metal. The seams are tight, but if this bed gets any action it'll definitely start squeaking. So I bought some gray, thick duck tape and padded/lined nearly all joints. LOL, it certainly added to the construction time, but I think it was worth it. An added benefit was that it made some of the joints a tighter fit, minimizing any rattling parts (for example, 2/3 of the headrest bars insert into the posts and the 3rd bar screws in and holds all in place. I wrapped duct tape around each end before insertion). The only thing I don't like about the construction of this piece is the middle support bar (the one with the baby legs). Those legs are wobbly and will pivot one way or another over time. Lots of beds use this type of support beam, so it's not a problem unique to this frame, but it's something you'll definitely have to check every once and awhile. A simple lifting of the base will rectify this problem as it occurs. And it's really not a structural issue (IMO) as the cross bars (all 20+ of them) are metal and insert into the side beams. Comfort and Durability: As I said, this bed is pure metal! It's not going anywhere. In fact, once I finished constructing it, I was worried about how I'd ever get it out of our bedroom. I don't think I can... LOL. I'll have to sell with the room. I kid, but not really. There are so many components and structural pieces that I would hate the task of disassembly. That said, this bed isn't completely immobile. Tight joints and all, it still sways... if just slightly. I double-tightened everything. Comrfort-wise, this is a super supportive frame. There's no give, so your mattress won't sink in here or there. It looks best without a box spring, but I suppose you can add one on. It is about 11' off the ground, which is great for storage boxes and for my corgi who lives under the bed. I toss and turn a lot and not once did I hear a squeak (again, I think my duct taping skills paid off). One thing I did was put cotton pads on the posts + middle support beams. I have hardwood floors and since this weighs so much, I didn't want it to scratch anything. Last Things: - I like how it feels like I'm sleeping in a fort. - The canopy bars are GREAT for laundry! I dump laundry on the bed, place hangers up on the high beam and crank out that tedious chore in no time. Saves you the trouble of going back and forth to put things away in the closet. - The finish is semi-gloss grey. It's pretty.

A fantastic bed, with a few simple tweaks
I'll start by saying I didn't really know what to expect with this bed. My wife and I spent literally a combined 4 or so hours pouring over reviews and, while the vast majority are positive, the negative ones were concerning. I've read about missing, damaged parts, fitment issues where bolt holes don't line up and, arguably the worst of the bunch, squeaking and a lack of sturdiness. I'm pleased say, now that mine is put together and we've slept on it, we couldnt be happer with it. If it helps for anyone, here are some tips.. - First and foremost be very careful removing the parts from the box. We had a few small scratches on some pieces and I suspect they were scratched going into the box or by me removing them because we had zero box damage. So, the only part of that you can control is how carefully you take the parts out. Be careful not to bang one part into the next. - Do an inventory and make sure to account for every piece in the item list in the manual. For obvious reasons. - Make sure to have threadlocker on hand. One of the complaints I've read over and over was about the bolts unscrewing themselves over time. Manfacturers of this type of furniture often times send their hardware with a dab of threadlocker on each bolt, typically just a spot of blue toward the end. This manufacturer doesn't, so spend the 6 bucks on blue threadlocker and save yourself some headaches. - Look at every assembly step in the instructions twice before doing anything. The instructions are clear if you take the time to take a good look. - Use felt on as many metal-on-metal contact points as you can. We used a pack of the felt funiture pads..the ones with the adhesive on one side for putting on furniture legs. This helps cut down on any clanking or squeaking and, in the cast of the 5 small legs, with making the fit more snug. - On our unit, the 5 support legs did not reach the ground. In fact they were just about an inch short of making contact. I made shims with small blocks of wood to help with this. For those reviewers that mentioned the legs buckling and bending in one direction or the other, I'd guess thats because their legs weren't shimmed. If the legs don't make contact and you get in bed, chances are they'll bend one way or the other on the way down from the pressure of the weight. The shims helped to firmly plant the legs against the floor. We have a new king sized Sleep Number mattress which, if put on a platform, requires slat spacing of no more than 2 inches. The metal slat spacing on this are much wider so we opted to make bunkie boards out of plywood and canvas. Between my wife and I, we weigh approximately 450. The bed is sturdy, quiet and supportive enough that we have every confidence it will last. There is zero noise getting in and out of bed or while rolling over or engaging in "bed wrestling." That all said, no regrets at all about the purchase. One star off for the fact that it's not perfect without some tweaks but, for the price point, I can't say enough about it. TL/DR -Take the parts out of the box very carefully to avoid damage -Do an inventory of parts -Use threadlocker to make sure bolts stay put -Shim legs where necessary to make sure they make contact with the floor -Use felt on metal-on-metal contact points to cut down on noise and make sure everything fits snugly

so I went with this white canopy bed that makes me feel like a princess
I finally decided to be an adult and buy an actual bed frame (and not just a metal adjustable one that comes with the mattress), but I didn't want to be too much of an adult, so I went with this white canopy bed that makes me feel like a princess. Off the bat I was impressed that it was delivered a day early, and the packaging was incredibly secure and well done. Each piece was individually wrapped. Even with that though one piece was bent at the edge, which wasn't a big deal because I ended up just facing it towards the wall (on that note, this seems to be a SUPER common complaint, is there a piece of equipment that is messed up or a disgruntled employee that likes to mess up just that one piece?!). Putting it together was mostly a breeze, and I am a 105lb female who did it alone. The recommendation on the directions is to have two people, and while that would be have been lots easier it is possible to do alone. It took me a little under two hours from unboxing to putting the mattress on. I decided that without the box spring it was too low for my preference so I just kept my box on it, but the recommendation is to use it without and I think it would work just fine. One suggestion I will echo from other reviews is to MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SCREWS BEFORE YOU ARE 100% FINISHED. That is no joke and I probably could have shaved off a half hour of blood, sweat, and tears had I just left everything loose in the first place. I haven't had any extra curricular activities take place on the bed yet so I'm not sure about squeaking related to that, but I did jump on it (because I'm not a real adult and needed to test it anyway...) and it seems pretty rock solid and squeak free. Overall, great bed frame for the money. Doesn't look cheap, doesn't feel cheap, but is pretty damn cheap :)

❤️❤️❤️My canopy bed frame 😍
So my bedframe arrived yesterday (on time) it's very heavy and sturdy which is great...just not when you're doing a 2 persons job alone 😒 I got mines in grey because it was the darkest color to match my tv stand. I have to say by viewing others reviews I thought it would be dark grey, buts its regular grey; so it's noticeable but not in a bad way. So it took me about 4.5 hours to do this alone. I only had help putting the very top on the canopy which is closest to the last step. I am so pleased with the frame and so is everyone else. It looks great in my room! It's big but not to where it takes up all the space (guess it depends on your bedroom size) I just absolutely love it. I was scared at first to sleep in it only because 3 screws didn't get placed because of the way the metal is it was melted over the holes BUT I didn't make a deal about it because there is so much security with the other steps that I was fine and truly I am because its that well made. The bed only screech down on it knees first in the middle but NOT loud at all u have to seriously be listening for it. I like that the frame holds up to 500lbs. I'm a big woman and tall (5"11) and I have a box spring/6inch mattress memory foam on top and there's no problem and it sits high enough which I LOVE!!! Also a heads up: the very last step had me thinking I was missing the bottom pieces to close the end poles but it is built in. I called the number on the directions and we laughed eel gen I checked. & Also directions were very easy to read but if you do get lost don't hesitate to call the number provided because they will answer to help!!! Buy! Buy! Buy! You will not be disappointed!

Very impressive.
This bed was a gift to myself. I've always wanted a canopy bed, and there is no way I could afford an extravagant, hardwood canopy bed fit for a king. When the price on this bed dropped, I jumped on it. I can dig the modern look. Firstly, the bed came much sooner than expected, which is awesome. It all came in one box weighing in at approx. 100 lbs, and inside various parts were grouped in other clearly marked boxes. Even better than that, the hardware came in an inventoried, blister-packed package that kept every bolt neatly organized. Who does that? Most of the furniture I buy these days is thrown into one box and the hardware tossed into a plastic bag. The fact that they packaged everything like this made the setup sooooooooo much easier. Constructing the frame took me a little while, but there was a Doctor Who marathon on, so I was admittedly distracted. I put it together myself, and I reiterate that the fact hat they packaged the parts in in logically grouped, clearly labeled boxes made it easy. The parts are all individually labeled (which peel off fairly easily with a fingernail) including the hardware, and the instructions were very easy to understand. To make sure that certain parts were oriented the right way, there were close-ups to accompany the diagrams. It took me longer to put together my computer desk than it did to construct this frame. It's been three weeks now, and the bed is solid. I haven't had to tighten anything, and everything is as solid as the day I put it together. Now, I think this has more to do with my mattress than the bed, but I was going to replace my platform-bed mattress later this year because I've aged since I've had it and it was hurting my back. Not any more. This mattress has never been this comfortable. I don't know how much of it is the bed frame, so I can't promise the same results, but it is what it is. I've decorated the frame some so that it's not so plain, and it looks great. I am very happy with this purchase, especially for the price.

Satisfied overall, but would have likely returned it if feasible.
The frame is nice and fairly sturdy, but the unnecessary hassle and time delays, caused by the company's carelessness, merits a reduced rating. All of the larger pieces are sent with nothing more than a thin plastic bag to protect them. Ironically, the components that no one would ever see arrived unscathed. The most visible parts (e.g., the posts) came with scratches, gouges, and dents. Unfortunately, some of the larger pieces can only be used in one orientation, so it's impossible to turn them toward the wall, let's say, so that the damage can be hidden. I ordered three replacements from the company's efficient website, and waited twice as long to receive them as I did for the original order. For some reason, the company only sent two of the three items. The piece intended to replace a dented post arrived with a 6" long scratch. (See first photo.) And since it was one that can only be mounted in a single orientation, it's glaringly visible. The other replacement part — #2 of what should have been three, that was intended to replace a scratched post — came dented, so I ended up not using it. The third replacement part, that was not send, was intended to replace another scratched post. (See second photo.) The hassle of returning a product with so many pieces, many of them heavy, just wasn't worth it. Neither was it worth my waiting another week for another round of replacements that likely were going to arrive in no better shape than the previous two (the original shipment and replacement round). The assembly was smooth, if not a bit tedious at some points. The illustrations are good and the instructions are clear. The only major problem I encountered was that one of the crossbeams, that supports the mattress itself, ended up misaligned with one of the holes, making it nearly impossible to insert its second bolt. Due to the weight-bearing nature of that piece, using only one bolt would not have been safe. I further loosened all of the bolts in the joined sections, forcibly tweaked the piece as far as I could, and managed to get the second bolt in place. It involved the gouged replacement post, so many it had been tooled in a different batch. (See third photo and note the alignment of the left edge of the bracket.) As previously mentioned, the website is efficient. Also Customer Support responds quickly to emails, website submissions, and phone calls. All and all, I am pleased with the frame, and I believe the price is fair. It's very attractive, at least to me, in a minimalistic way. However, it is disappointing that, due to the scratches, it already looks used, especially since a little more shipping care would prevent these issues. After spending an hour or two putting something together, it's nice to step back and appreciate it without having to notice needless flaws. That's why I'm deducting two stars instead of one. It's because the problem is so easy to resolve, but the company isn't doing what's necessary to ensure that their components arrive in reasonable condition.

A sturdy well-designed frame that will look great with curtains.
I bought this frame because I was never allowed to have a race-car bed when I was a kid, and now that I'm old, I want to build a fort. I plan to drape it in completely with curtains, and suspend a TV from the top of the foot of the bed using chain that would hang a porch swing. The back of the headboard is a perfect place to clip a reading lamp as well. I noticed that user "ironysidea" has a chip on their shoulder about this product but provides no constructive feedback about why it's poor. ASSEMBLY: This took about 2 hours to put together, working by myself steadily but not hard. If you have a drill with hexagon attachments, you will save a lot of time; most of my assembly time was in tightening screws. The engineering for assembly is good. Each different screw length is also a different width, so you can never use the wrong screw. The Amazon photos don't show the 8 triangular braces at the 4 corners. The clips at the end I planned to clip and then slide to the middle of the slats; this didn't work -- follow instructions. A straightforward, if time-consuming build. AESTHETICS: The grey color is not almost black like the pictures, but still very dark. There are no runs in the paint or scratches. The slats around the top are 2" x 1", so 6" total around. Dividing by Pi gives us 1.9", which tells us that any curtain that can take a 2" diameter rod will fit around the slats.I put a heavy 12" memory foam mattress on the frame and it feels exceptionally sturdy. The 12" mattress goes flush with the first rung of the headboard. LONGEVITY: I've only just put this frame together but feel it will last a lifetime. I'm moving in a month and will have to disassemble and transport it. Much of it will be able to stay intact though. I'll update the review when I see how it travels, and how long it lasts...

White Paradise
I will say, the box is heavy and was carried out by two burly men, but I still managed to move the box on my own, unload and build it all within a few hours. I'm 5"1 at 69 kilos and managed. It's definitely easier if you're two! But on a scale of difficulty, it's much easier to build this bed than to find a suitable partner as a millennial. As long as you're flexible, logical and able to lift above your head, you'll do just fine. This is like the Chinese version of IKEA so bear this in mind as the instructions won't be super clear, however, if you take the time to read them carefully and apply some common sense, you'll figure it out easily. The only reason the screw holes may not line up is because you probably tightened parts of the structure too early, thinking you need to tighten them now. Once you loosen them up a bit, everything will line up perfectly. Funny how that works! The screws come in a packaged advent-style calendar that you pop open from behind while following the steps. This couldn't have been an easier set-up and faster shipment. Very pleased with the outcome. If you're on the fence, this is a good buy for a great price. Also - If you're not yet owning your own place and have to deal with the potential neighbouring pests, you'd rather a metal frame than wood for peace of mind. There's enough storage space underneath, where I currently have another mattress. It feels sturdy, it's comfy and it looks clean. I feel like I'm in my own little cocoon. I especially love the headrest for the pillows. I'm going to do it up just the way I've always dreamed of with white hanging curtains, nets and soft white LEDs. CONS: Hard to complain about this one. The only cons I would say is the single box made it a very heavy item and the instructions could use some work. Also, try to find alternatives to all the plastic wrapping, it's a bit much and not always necessary. There's only one currently livable planet.

get sticky pads
I wanna say for any of the squeaky problems that could occur reading from the comments - i ordered sticky pads extra for furniture in different sizes and i put them in all the places that could possibly make it squeak. even on the back of the bed so the wall won’t get messed up and under the feet. I have this bed for a while now and I also have five children who are always in my room & I gotta say I am very satisfied with my buy. This bed is also very Heavy and Sturdy.
