Works!
I have very curved toenails. They are a perfect arch. This has caused so many painful problems, and expensive trips to the podiatrist.I tried the more expensive option available on Amazon, the one that’s $40. This one works way better! And the tools that comes with are so useful and high-quality.The first time I applied it, I had to cut the plastic braces down to a shorter size because of the curve, some of my toenail is obscured by skin at this point. If you have to cut your plastic brace, be sure to cut it on a curve matching The way the ends are on the braces as they come. This will help keep pointy ends from poking your skin. I had the braces on for almost 2 weeks, and I used the glue cleaner to take them off. My toenails were partially flat at this point. After reapplying the braces, the toenails flattened out completely within minutes it seemed. Amazing! It helps to keep your toenails short, this will help them flatten out, excess growth past your nail bed is hard and difficult to bend. After you have let them flatten out as much as they will go, this could take minutes hours or a day or two. You can put toenail polish on. You don’t want to put on toenail polish too soon, or it’ll make it hard for the braces to straighten. My toenails were very curved, so I used two braces on each nail. One towards the top, where the nail bed ends, and excess growth begins, and one towards the beginning of the nail bed where growth begins. If you have short nail beds, this may not work for you.

Don't bother
Glue doesn't even stick to nails. Useless.

IT WORKS!
I've been resigned to the pain of my ingrown toenails for years, thinking that nothing short of (even more painful) surgery could fix them. Somehow, I discovered these products (there are a few different brands), and gave this one a try.You do have to follow the instructions exactly to get the little plastic bands to properly stick. Once you get the hang of it, the magic begins: the plastic bands apply a gentle but constant upward pull on the sides of the nails. I had pain relief within a day (!), and after a few months the edges of my nails had been lifted and had grown out to the point that I could trim them properly. I did have to replace them a couple of times when the glue failed, but for the most part they quietly do their work without being noticeable at all. Whoever invented this product deserves a prize!!

Glue sticks and most of the actual strips seem OK...
One of the strips broke easily in half, but the 3 others I've used seemed to work OK, and certainly helped to 'unbend' my big toe nail.

Works well and works quickly!
Let me start by saying that I just had a very painful procedure done on my right foot to correct practically the same ingrown toenail i am now working with on my leftfoot. I was very skeptical of this product. Now I'm trying this item for on my left foot. I put this on right before bed within about 20 mins , taking care to get it on correctly. By the next morning when I put my shoes and socks on for work, I could already tell there was considerably less pain. By the next evening, almost 24 hours after applying the strip and after working an entire workday on my feet, the entire day, I did not have a bit of pain left in my toenail. And I could already see visible opening at the tip of my toe, where the toenail had been so rounded and ingrown before. I definitely 100% recommend trying this product before You try an expensive, painful surgery like I did. I wish I had listened to my husband sooner and tried it when he suggested it instead of laughing at the thought of a small plastic strip correcting my severely ingrown nail!

1000% Better Than Going to Dr. Toe Butcher
I have used this kit twice. The first time my family was begging me to get surgery. Ah....No Thanks. Everyone I know who has gone to Dr. Toe Butcher has toenails that are as wide as toothpicks; along with a horrific tail of surgical pain and laser cauterization!!My toenails are perfect now because of this kit. Here is how I used the kit to save my toenails:1. Applied two strips. One to the base of the nail and one near the tip. FOLLOW THE KIT DIRECTIONS!2. Before bed, applied Good Sense Maximum Strength Triple Antibiotic Ointment plus Pain Relief to the affected area.3. Covered with a Band-Aid.4. After 10 - 16 hours, removed Band-Aid, cleaned off remaining ointment.5. Prepared a HOT footbath with Amazon Brand - Solimo Epsom Salt (2 cups). Soaked for 1 hour6. Dried my foot and repeated steps 2 - 5I try to do the foot bath everyday because the Epsom Salt bath softens the toenail so the strips can reshape the nail faster, remove built up toxins and aids in quick healing.I want to thank whoever invented this kit... You saved my toenails! :)

NOT for small little piggies; they break
Really hard to apply and not for small nails. They just snapped when I tried to curve for my small little piggies; Only worked to apply on big toes. Not enough time to see if they work over time though as I have seriously humped toenails.

Takes some practice but works well
Once I got the strip attached it stayed on at least 2 weeks. I use these on and off when my big toenails get too curved and start hurting. It takes patience but if I follow directions carefully this works and takes away all the pain. I finally read the part of the directions saying that if you replace them every 2 weeks for 3 months the nails will be straightened. I had only been using it until the pain went away so now I want to use regularly and see if I can get a more permanent fix. Disappointed they are no longer for sale. it does work. just have to be patient applying the strip with the glue, and start it lower on the nail bed - before the part where the nail is very curved because the plastic strip can't bend too much.
