Very handy "wide" handing folders letting you keep large amounts of paperwork in the same file folder. Be aware than these need to have the included cardboard bottoms placed in them to hang correctly. If you don't put the bottoms in, they folders become too long and will hit the bottom of your file cabinet lifting them up from actually hanging on the side bars. I had limited filing cabinet drawer space and didn't have room to use them all since they are 2-inches wide, which takes up quite a bit of space for each one. They are sturdy and well made with vivid colors.

What i needed

The hanging file folders fit an awful lot of material, but if you fill them too full, the Weight flexes the metal rod which causes the folder to fall off the rails in your filing cabinet. Kind of irritating, but I don’t think I’ve ever found a hanging file that didn’t do that.

Hold up well and are useful for holding and organizing several items, especially items that may be thicker than standard paper. I use them to store laminated files that have pictures with Velcro on them in my classroom.

I like these, they are a good thickness and have good side slides. They were well packaged in shipping. I wish they came in purple vs orange though.

Let me start by being fair: these are well-made suspension folders. They’re sturdy, reinforced, expandable, and clearly designed to carry a serious amount of paperwork without collapsing into a sad cardboard accordion.However.Despite happily holding A4 paper, these folders turn out to be foolscap-sized, a filing standard from a time when men wore hats indoors and paperwork feared no gravity.This became apparent when they refused to fit into my entirely normal, modern A4 filing cabinet. They don’t quite hang. They hover. They sit there like they’re thinking about it, but ultimately decline.For comparison, my existing STAPLES A4 suspension files are about 1cm wider at the rails, which, it turns out, is the difference between “organised professional” and “person surrounded by stationery on the floor.”To be clear:A4 paper fits perfectlyThe folders themselves are solidThe problem is the rail width, not the quality - which sent me off mine trying to work out why they do not fit!So if you own a letter-size filing cabinet, these will probably be excellent.If, however, you own a standard A4 or foolscap cabinet, you’ll instead enjoy a thrilling lesson in international paper standards and mild existential despair.Three stars.One deducted for compatibility confusion.One deducted for reintroducing foolscap into my life without warning.
