Overall very nicely thought out kit , when working with the tiny screws be sure to have a cup to place them in while working

This ifixit kit is NOT NEW unlike product description. I’ve ordered three of these kits now (two from amazon, and one from the actual ifixit site), and both times I ordered the amazon part, the earpiece in the new screen did not work. The flex cable appeared to be damaged both times, and neither earpiece in the new enclosed part worked. The packaging that the new screen was enclosed in also appeared to be tampered with, and it was obvious that it was not brand new, unlike product description. The only way to get this part to work was to take old parts from my broken screen and transfer them over to the new screen. Bottom line is that this amazon part does not come brand new: the flex cables (the earpiece cable) was either previously damaged or the cable was a knock off. However, when I ordered this EXACT SAME kit from the ifixit site (not amazon), the part worked perfectly. All components worked perfectly as described, and I had no issues with the earpiece. So go yourself a favor and DO NOT order this kit from amazon. It does not come new, despite product description, and the parts are not legitimate. Just go and save yourself the time and money by ordering the real thing on the ifixit site. Sure, it’ll take a few more days, but you’ll get the expected-high quality parts, and everything will work, unlike this amazon piece of junk. And yes, this is a real review. Trust me, you’ll be glad you skipped on ordering this kit from amazon. Go and order the real deal on ifixit.com instead. You’ll get what you pay for there, not here.

Great product for its price.Although the colours are a bit dull but meets the expectations.They even sent another replacement screen after the first one was defective

Buy it only if you know what you’re doing, if not then it will mess here and there.Also screen is not original And has a more blue and dull tint.Not a easy anyone can do kit, however if you have the experience no complaints.

Touch screen lacks the function of the original screen and is not comparable. A long touch to navigate is dysfunctional. The colors aren’t the same. The sensor to auto adjust brightness doesn’t work.
