This unit does its job - it gives you 24V. Though, even under a small loading (below 12VA) it heats very well which makes me believe its efificiency is not very high. Not a critical issue for a device of this price.

I wanted to test out my damper motors without messing with the unit controlling my heating system. This worked out perfectly, will keep it as a backup just in case the ones in service die.

wow, this works
Plug it in, and it sends 24V.... just like it should. if it sent 18V or 12V, I would be disappointing. but it really does make 24V from my 118V (metered).
