It mainly works because it forms water insoluble thick layer of cream which contains zinc oxide, over skin that lay inside diaper. Rash happen mainly because of moisture & dirty condition. Because of protective barrier, it will not let skin come in contact with it. It has Helped my baby many times. It is bit costly but definitely works if others are not helping.
