Just wow wow wow!! These are GORGEOUS!!!!! JEWEL TONED COLORS....VIBRANT...AND ABSOLUTELY LOVELY TO WORK WITH!!! I WISH IT HAD MORE COLORS IN THE SET JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE STUNNING!!

I love this fun metallic gouache from Arteza that I purchased last week- a coupon was used too! The colors are great, the paint’s not too “sparkly”, the coverage right out of the tube is pretty solid, the tubes themselves are pretty big- what’s not to love? I’m just getting into gouache and these will be a fun inspirational addition to my artist’s toy box. Picture of swatches below- 1 coat per color.

Decided to try this set of 12. Highly worthwhile! The tubes open and close easily and the paints are highly opaque, as expected, with good metallic look. Great quality gouache. After this positive experience, I plan to get the larger set as well. The larger set has a range of beautiful colors that will make it well worth purchasing. The price is good. The only down side, compared with the Coliro or Finetec brand, is that you pretty much need to put the Arteza paint on a palette or plate, which then may need to be cleaned after. The Coliro/Finetec provides their metallic paints in palette (cake) forms instead of tube forms and don't need to be cleaned up. However, the Arteza, as mentioned earlier, is beautiful, heavily opaque metallic paint with a lovely range of colors.,

I do like this product. It's affordable especially with the lightning deal. Very pretty but it is sheer and some colors have good pigment while others don't. I know I can use this to make some interesting effects on my art. Some of these colors I can use to "apply" make-up on my characters because it does have a certain look to them with the mica in it and with how sheer it is. As for the metal parts of the painting, it will give a metallic effect but not quite sure. It is my first metallic gouache pain set. I haven't tried other brands yet to make a better review for the metal part of the painting. Anyway, not bad. I will definitely use it for good practice.

Usually I'm a Winsor-Newton watercolor gouache kind of person, and I like Schmincke pearl gold when I needed a metallic gold, but when I saw the kind of results my friend had from her colored metallic gouaches, I wanted to expand my horizons. I looked at a lot of different brands before I decided that Arteza had the best split between price, variety, and quality. Once they came in, I was really thrilled with how they felt while working with them. So far, I've used them for projects on red, black, and purple paper and have been pleased with my results. If you need something unique for your paintkit, these are a fun addition.

Ich male gerne zeitgenössisch und abstrakt und liebe dabei lebensbejahende Farben. Das Set hat wirklich eine wunderbare Auswahl an metallisch schimmernden Farben mit denen man farbenfrohe Werke erschaffen kann. Obwohl die Tuben klein sind, so sind sie doch sehr reichhaltig und man verbraucht recht wenig davon. Hab nicht gezählt wieviele Werke erstanden sind, aber ich benutze ja auch noch andere Farben von ARTEZA.

I have just used these Arteza Metallic Gouache paints for the first time today 7/10/23. I bought them way back in 11/12/21. Can't believe I waited so long to use them. I want to give a wooden wardrobe a makeover, (already painted white and affectionally named Cupboardy by my daughter ) and so did a small quick design on paper with these paints. They are stunningly beautiful, I gasped with amazement when I saw how reflective they are. So much choice with so many colours. I discovered you can layer the colours over each other for beautiful effects. I didn't want to waste the paint by squeezing it into a palette so just used a small damp brush to take the paint directly from the tube as I only needed tiny amounts. It can be used watered down and gives a lovely metallic wash. Now I have to get Arteza's Metallic Acrylic paints so I can do the real thing on the wardrobe with lotus leaves, blue lotus flowers plus wisteria hanging down, metallic hummingbirds and butterflies. I have just bought my daughter a set of these after telling her how beautiful they are. Even the box they come in is good quality, so smooth and tactile and the 36 colours in little trays of 6 fit in the box nicely. I have used ordinary gouache paints before for floral painting but these metallic ones will add something extra special to any artwork. A high quality product, highly recommended.

Easy to use, highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Great product!
