Samyang Carbo Buldak (Roast Chicken) Hot Spicy Rice Cake Tteokbokki (1)

The buldak sauce was traumatic.. All I did was take a 𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘺 bit out and next thing I know my face is hot, my body is warm, I'm light headed, I'm a little dizzy.. It was alot, too much actually. __________________________________________ The buldak powder flavour was okay! It was nice and creamy, but it was a little lackluster and a little too much. It's still good, but I wouldn't go out my way to buy it again. __________________________________________ The tteokbokki itself was very nice!! I probably should've boiled it or cooked it for more so it'd be less hard and more chewy, but nonetheless it was amazing. It's extremely easy to make and use for a small snack! __________________________________________ I added ramen, lemon juice, seasoned salt to mine after tasting it regularly and it was okay to eat. Overall it's a good purchase, but I personally won't purchase this specific flavour again unless I'm craving a creamy, unique and soft flavour! ♡ Rating! I really do love it the texture, the taste, especially with extra cheese and the budalk noodles 😩 BEST COMBO🤌 the texture is very chewy so some may not like it based off preference in textures. It is a little spicy but adding extra cheese or less sauce makes it bearable. 10/10 I definitely recommend to at least TRY.

DELICIOUS! This is my new favorite Samyang product. I love the noodles, but the rice cakes are a whole other level. The texture is thick and chewy, they are easy to make, and the spice is just the same as the noodles. If you have had those before, you can expect the same heat from this product.

Personally I didn’t really like the taste… but I gave it 3 stars because I bought it for aesthetic vibes you know! I kinda tasted like plastic so either I didn’t cook it right which I’m sure I did or the food is normal to taste like plastic but I live in America so really everything tastes like plastic unless it’s from a good food truck!!! (And no I’m not white)

Flavor is good, and the rice cakes are good as well. I followed the directions somewhat but I chose to add sauce packet and powder after cooking the rice cake, I also drained a bit of water out and left about a teaspoon of water in it so that the sauce and powder can coat all the rice cakes and have a thicker consistency. If you’ve tried the spicy fire noodles these aren’t as hot but are still spicy for someone who doesn’t take spice well, add cheese to reduce spice! In my opinion the carbonara flavor rice cake is better than the original chicken flavor rice cakes. Overall, I do not recommend buying these on amazon they are definitely over priced. You can find these fairly cheap at an Asian market

Very spicy my son said it was good but too hot to eat. He did include the entire sauce packet though so if he had only added a fraction of it, it wouldn’t have been as hot.

It was just tasteless & watery. Stick to the carbonara ramen. Much better.

Delicious flavor with a creamy, spicy kick. Super satisfying if you love heat. I add cheese for extra richness. One of my favorites!
