Favorite Kitchen Tool
By far my favorite kitchen tool next to my rotary cheese grater!! I cook from scratch every night and I use a LOT of fresh garlic. One thing I couldn't stand was how tedious mincing garlic was with a knife for me. I hated it. This little tool changed my life and now I LOVE mincing garlic! I usually just peel the cloves, cut the root ends off and then slice each clove into halves. From there I just load them into the mincer, close it up and then roll away across the countertop! Because I like my garlic extra minced, I will generally tap the mincer a few times onto the counter to drop any garlic from the sides and then start rolling again to make the mince even finer. Buy this thing! You won't regret it!

Perfect - that's it!
Oh how I absolutely LOVE this little gadget!!! I have tried various crushing/grating items over the years (20+) and they broke or did not provide the type of consistency I desired. I truly love to cook with fresh grated garlic, yet for for the last year I gave up and was using the "jar stuff." The flavor was acceptable, but not at all like freshly grated garlic. This chopper is quick and I can choose the texture of the clove. I use this at least 3 times each week (I make 90% of my food from scratch). ALSO - it is fun to bring this little baby out when my guests are chatting in my kitchen and I am cooking....it is a GREAT object for discussion!

Chop, chop.
This gadget saves me so much time! We make lots of hummus, and we use 4 to 5 cloves per each batch. I used to hate chopping the garlic...it was the worse step in the process. Now, this is no longer an issue because I use this handy efficient chopper. My suggestion is to place two to three cloves in the device, chop up that content, then add any additional cloves. I use a knife to scrape out the minced garlic that will be stuck to the two wings of the device when you open it. Pretty simple. After a quick disassembly, it's a quick rinse of water under the faucet to remove anything else remaining in the holder and on the blades. Bought this in November (roughly 4 months ago from this writing) and have used it at least once a week. No problems. Smart design, holds in the hand well, and makes me happy each time I use it. I think it would make a super gift for any chief/cook who loves using garlic.

Does a nice job
This modest chopper does everything the listing says it does. Chopping up garlic to desired size is super easy. My only issue is that I love a lot of garlic in my food prep. The size of this chopper only allows for about two large or 3 medium sized pellets at a time. I found I had to take some out in order for the wheel that moves the tiny blades to move easily. For me, I have to refill it 2 to 3 times to get the amount of chopped garlic that I want. If you cook for a big family and use a lot of garlic this chopper is not the top pick. But for medium to small meal prep or those who only like a little bit of garlic it’s perfect. It glides and chops quick and easy when loaded with the proper amount of garlic. For my needs, I will have to buy a small electric one. But I still like this one and will use it accordingly.

Garlic Chopper
This takes up a lot of room in my drawer. I didn't think it worked that well when chopping only 1 garlic clove. It would have worked better with more cloves. The garlic press works just as well. I would have returned it but had thrown away the packaging.
