1/8/22 update: I ordered my label maker on 6/22/20. I have only used it a handful of times, only when I needed a label; I didn't use it like a toy. I plug it in a little while ago to create some labels & now it doesn't work. When i push a button, the whole screen goes black & it doesn't do what I want it to do. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! All the tape I bought, the adapter, the case to keep it safe when not in use... all wasted money now.UPDATED Review/ so the issue was with the adapter that i originally ordered with my label maker. IF YOU ORDER THIS LABEL MAKER GET AN ADAPTER. Since i had to order a new adapter, i used batteries for the meantime. I put the batteries in at 10p the day i received it & my label maker told me i needed new batteries by 10p the next night only made a few labels during that time frame.1st review/ so i ordered an adapter with my color pop bc i didn't want to worry about 6 batteries & its not turning on. I plugged it into several outlets & nothing. I put batteries in it & it worked fine. Im returning the adapter i bought & ordered another one. Not sure if the issue is the adapter i ordered or the area in the label maker where the adapter gets plugged into, maybe something is wrong with that. I guess ill see when i get the new adapter i ordered. Ill update my review when i figure out where the issue lies.

Who really needs a labeler? Everyone! The whole reason to use a labeler is so you can FIND your stuff EASILY. Do you really need an expensive digital labeler? Probably not.Is this you? "What's in those boxes on the top shelf of my kitchen cabinet?" With this label maker you will say "Oh yeah! It's a box of coffee stirrers and a box of cookie cutters. (So that's where they were). This DYMO COLORPOP Color Handheld Label Maker, will save you tons of time and frustration.This labeler is so easy to use. I like the fact is is portable and you can take it where you need it. (Note: You will need 6- AAA batteries, not included) You can purchase a separate adapter if you choose to use power. The tape cartridges just pop in and out, so it is easy to change the size and color of your labels. This labeler can accommodate up to 1/2 " labels. All you do is type the name on the screen - decide how big you want the font (has 20+ fonts/styles - bold, italics- emojis )- press print - use side button to cut and you are done. The labels are split in the middle so it is easy to remove the backing. This stores easily in a drawer or on a shelf. I would recommend the DYMO COLORPOP Color Handheld Label Maker to anyone who is looking for a portable, battery operated, compact, versatile label maker.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm a licensed nail tech and it's important for me to be organized and follow state regulations. So I have all my bottles labeled in addition to other supplies I use for press-on nails. I've also used this for labeling items around my house. I got this label maker back in 2020 for my small business and it still works 4 years later! I highly recommend this label maker because you can change the size of the fonts, insert various punctuation marks, and cute emoji symbols.

This DYMO COLORPOP Label maker is awesome, but do NOT buy/use the DYMO brand name tape cartridges! They are much more expensive & they usually do not work/print at all, or they get jammed all the time. Do yourself a favor & buy the labeling tapes (on Amazon) by Freshworld for $15.99 for five tape cartridges (Clear/White/Blue Glitter/Pink Glitter/Purple Glitter). These tapes look very similar to the brand-name ones, but they have a bit more sparkle & shine, which is better, in my opinion. Just pop the cartridge in the labeler & it’s ready to go. Completely frustration-free with these off-brand tapes! Plus, they breakdown to cost Approx. $3.20/Cartridge vs. DYMO’s $7-$9 cartridges.

O aparelho cumpre o que se propõe mas me arrependi quando fui procurar as fitas para ele. São difíceis de encontrar e extremamente caras, as mais caras do mercado.Veio somente uma fita, com uma cor duvidosa (azul com glitter)... deveria vir com uma mais tradicional, como branca escrita em preto... estou usando esse rolo, mas se for imprimir coisas pequenas a perda é muito grande... ele deixa um enorme espaço em branco antes e depois do texto impresso, muita perda.Não é muito simples de se usar e o manual não ajuda muito.

Really like this label maker. It's easy to use, portable and good print options. Only thing to watch is the tape, just make sure it's pulled through the slot before you print.

Great dymo machine in fab colour. Shame you can only get spare label tape from USA unless you go for compatible

Mine works like a charm once I put in six AAA batteries (not included). I have used it to label my kitchenwares, cupboards, shelves, windows, doors, knife rack, etc., extensively for two days. Unlike some reviewers have mentioned, I haven't encountered the battery drain issue.The buttons are made of soft silicone material, not Blackberry-like hard plastic. They have a mushy feeling when you press them. Not sure how long these buttons would last, but given the $50 CAD I paid, I think the convenience of having a handheld label printer wherever you go justifies the purchase.Both Dymo and generic-brand tapes produce clear-looking typeface and adequate adhesion. I would personally go with generic tapes in the future.One thing to note: there is only one typeface (sans-serif) with bold, italic, and underline variations. The emoji library is fairly limited. The display shows five or six emojis in a row / at once. You can press the UP/DOWN directional buttons to "turn the page". There are approximately 20 pages of emojis, so far fewer than those from your smartphone. This might be personal, but I wish there were more sign-like ones such as directional arrows.
