Vibra-Tector 740

I have had the Vibra Tector 730 for around 10 years and just bought the 740 for my son. These are indestructible. Also, I was having an issue and called the company direct. Michael called me back immediately (on a Sunday!) and helped diagnose the problem. It turns out, there was interference from a local transformer and had nothing to do with the detector being faulty. I can’t recommend this product or company enough. Made in the USA and great customer service!

This metal detector is great for someone just starting out looking for an activity while snorkeling in shallow waters. Easy to use, lightweight, and easy to transport in my beach bag. The only negative is that if it shifts and ends up straight up it can turn itself on and off in your bag. That is not a big deal, but something to be mindful of. My first time out I found a good ring!

Treasure Products Vibra-Tector 740I am a certified diver and love this product. I really like how it vibrats when using it underwater. So I do not have to pay attention to the light going off with the vibrat feature. Highly recommend this product.

This is the one you want. Do NOT buy the knock off versions. This one offers 1 year warranty and is Made in the U.S.A. Yes it costs more money but I'd rather pay for reassurance than get burned by made in china. Since it is confusing with the on/off I recommend removing battery each time not in use and you should have no issues while in use.

We purchased the Vibra-Tector 740 on Nov. 19th, 2020. We received it around Nov. 27th, 2020. We intended to use it during our winter vacation but due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, we were unable to do so. After 6 months of sitting in our garage, we finally try to use it yesterday and the product is not working properly. We put a new battery in, but it seems to not vibrate. It does light up, but only faintly. It blinks about 3 times then stops. It also does not seem to detect any metal properly. We wave it around some household items that contain some metal, but it does not flash or blink rapidly as advertised or vibrate.We are wondering if this is a defective product. The window to return/replace has closed after 90days from orginial purchase. Will try to contact the Treasure Products directly for help.Overall, very expensive for a non working defective product. Very disappointed. Had such high hopes of underwater treasure hunting during vacation. So sad. Lesson learned.

First saw this on amazing race and thought how much fun on a beach. Really didn’t work well at all. Not such a good purchase expected more.
