My first time trying out extensions!Here's my situation: I have fine and slightly wavy Asian hair that's on the shorter side of long in length. Meaning it's past my shoulders, but only a few inches. My hair gets brownish highlights in the sun, and I don't blowdry it, style it, or dye it. Basically, it's virgin hair on which I don't use any products. I wear it up almost all the time, but I recently made a new friend who had AMAZING hair in curls. When I complimented her on them, imagine my befuddlement when she said, "Thanks! Half of it isn't mine!" Thus, I learned about human hair extensions. And I was intrigued and thought it might be good for branching out and wearing my hair down. I wanted to find something that would add a little bit of bulk to my own hair. Since I didn't want to invest too much in this experiment, I bought this package from Amazon.Price & Shipping: After copious amounts of research, I thought this was the best price and lowest risk in terms of buying it from Amazon. Additionally, if you look on the righthand side where it lists other sellers, there's a Prime option for this item. Instead of waiting weeks for it to be sent from Asia, I paid an extra few bucks and got them in two days.Texture and Quantity: The texture of this hair is soft and fine, which works really well for my natural hair. I'm by no means an expert at extensions (this is my first set, after all!), but the extensions felt similar to my own virgin hair, which leads me to believe it's real human hair. I bought 20" because I intended to trim the ends to the correct length of my own hair. Also, since I only wanted to add bulk and not length, I figured I could trim half of the hair to my current length (just cut my hair on Wednesday, so it's at its shortest!) while keeping the other half for later when my hair's a little longer. There seemed to be a lot of hair for what the price, and adding just three extensions into my hair made me feel like I got a decent amount of bulk to do what I wanted and leave it down.Color: I ordered the off black color (#1B), which overall was a near perfect match for my hair. It's maybe a smidge darker if looking at my hair vs. the extension in the sun, but it's not enough to notice unless staring at the two to compare. I washed the trimmed hair that I plan on using with my usual shampoo and conditioner. At least some of the hair has been dyed because I noticed a faint color to the water when I rinsed out the shampoo. That's not the most appealing thing, but I guess it's something I can deal with. I did notice a strand or two in each bundle that didn't match the overall color. They actually looked like someone perhaps had a random hair that was going gray because it was the same texture but lighter in spots. I picked those strands out and cut them out of the extension.Random: The four-clip extension was just too huge for my head, so I actually cut those down to four additional one-clip extensions. It worked shockingly well to cut it down like that. All I did after making the cut was to tug the edge of the part that was sewn together on each one. I lost a couple of strands when I tugged the edge, but the overall new one-clip extension seems perfectly secure otherwise.Overall: Overall, I'm pleased with my gamble! This product was affordable, shipped to me quickly, and is a decent quality considering the great price. I look forward to wearing my hair down more often!

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these extensions in my mail box this afternoon, I ordered these on 1/21 and was told the estimated delivery date will be 2/14-3/10, I was so happy to get them in 5 days.. So I could not wait to open up the package, the pieces were wrapped in that plastic bag as photographed, and it had a few strand that shed right out of the bag, but it only looked like it was just lose strands that was not weaved into the extension., I ordered the Black, and the color was a perfect match to my own hair, I already have long black hair (Asian hair), just wanted to have more volume when I wear it straight, the hair extensions seems to also be Asian hair, they are of pretty good quality for the price i paid ($37), I have never purchased hair before, but the hair is in better condition then my own, not dry out and no split ends, they are soft , shinny and seems to be virgin hair, since I found a few strands of grey but it does not bother me at all, it is shinny and blends in with my own hair so well, and it served the purpose for the volume, really love it.I have read some people complained of the hair being too thin, not sure if they meant the hair thickness it self or the over all amount of hair of these extensions, but I can tell you the hair is definitely Asian hair and the hair it self is thin but soft, so if you have thicker hair quality or with coarse hair, this might not blend with your own hair that well, but I am thinking that is if you wear it straight, if you use it for styling like curling or crimping then it might not matter. Again I purchased the Black, so it might be Asian hair, not sure if you purchased a different color it might have a different thickness , but again these are all from China.I have never purchased hair , so i have no idea what really expensive " Good Hair " is like, but for the price I paid I think the quality is not bad, and it serves my purpose. Over all I am so far very satisfied with these extension at this point, next I am going to wear them and see how they hold up, and how bad are the shedding and tangling or any other problems, will update later.
