MAXTID Under Door Draft Stopper 32, 36, 38 Inches - Grey Door Sweep Insulation for Winter, Cold Air Draft Blocker

If it does not fit, make it! I have a door that needed this and the floor on the exterior is not flat. I put this together (used the double sided stickers and tape) cut it to fit the door. I kept the inside foam roll whole, cut the outside foam roll with a razor blade, taped the joints together again (to reinforce them since I cut the tape off while customizing), and it works great!! This is not intended to keep sound/noise out. It is a draft stopper; keeps the cold out and warm in or warm out and cold in…depending on where you live and if you have seasons. It is 11° here and my house and nice and warm thanks to this!! I threw 3/4 of one side in the trash as I only need 1/4 of it to fit my door and it still works! It is foam, people!!! You can easily slice it with a razor blade! There is a nice Velcro feature to secure the extra slack if you have a smaller door. This also works great to keep bugs OUT!!! It happens to be my second time purchasing one of these. Last time I bought one was in 2016. This updated version is much sturdier, and the quality has improved tremendously!!

Assembly required but instructions very clear. We use it on the seldom-used door of our double door outside entry.It is already a tight fit so took some doing to slide it snug but don’t give up. Protective cover very resilient.It took a bit but now in place.The good part is that it now swings open without losing its integrity. I’m not sure how long it would last on the normally used door but probably ok.We use it for cutting down high wind noise and while it is not advertised as water proof I bet it will stop wind driven rain.

It blocks light and sound well. It was easy to fit. It has a bit of loose fabric on the end where you close it up with Velcro. I would prefer it to be a bit tighter (and less of a shiny fabric) but doesn’t look bad.

I would give it only 3 or 4 stars but I want people to see this. It works to keep drafts out and is easy to piece together and adjust, but It was a waste of time because it is not at all suitable for doors you open all the time or doors with raised thresholds outside such as your front door. It gets stuck and then the door refuses to close, so you have to lift it to close the door.Since it worked so well I’m replacing with a one side version that won’t get stuck to go on the inside of my front door.

I purchased the MAXTID Door Draft Stopper with the hope of blocking drafts and reducing my energy bill, especially given that it advertises compatibility for cat doors. However, the product falls short on multiple fronts, making it a disappointing purchase overall.Firstly, the adjustable size seemed like a convenient feature, but I found the range of 32-38 inches to be limiting. It was not a perfect fit for my door, requiring additional adjustments on my part to make it work. This is not what I expect from a product marketed as "adjustable."Secondly, the product claims to be suitable for cat doors, but this was far from my experience. The draft stopper was too bulky around the cat door area, making it difficult for my cat to move in and out freely. The inconvenience caused to my pet is a major downside for me.The material also poses a problem. While it looks decent enough, it doesn't effectively block drafts as promised. I could still feel a considerable amount of cold air seeping through despite installing the MAXTID Door Draft Stopper. This leads me to question the quality of the insulation material used.On top of these issues, the double-sided feature did little to enhance the product's effectiveness. It didn't provide any additional sealing capabilities compared to a single-sided draft stopper I've used before.In conclusion, the MAXTID Door Draft Stopper failed to deliver on its promises. From the subpar material to its inadequate adjustability and problematic compatibility with cat doors, it's not a product I can recommend. Save your money and opt for a more reliable and effective draft stopper.

Got this to help my daughter seal out odors from the hallway drifting into her apartment. Performed that well enough, but EVERY time you open the door, the whole unit would slide outward 2-3 inches over the edge of the door. So leaving the apartment, you have to put your foot into the doorway and push the unit back fully over the door before you can close it. Also, the material itself wore out to threads fairly quickly, even over a glossy-smooth piece of floor.

Bought for my front door!!You could feel the cold air pouring in from underneath!Trimmed to fit my door and…..voila…no more cold air coming in underneath said door!Works like a charm!!Does what it is supposed to and was a reasonable price!!Easy to put on and take off!!Win!!

At first I was pretty skeptical at this product.When I got it because everything was dissembled and I had to put it together.All it was was just some styrofoam with some cloth wrapped around itI could feel that my house was drafty.And was just looking for a quick fix because my house is old and rickety sometimes and I can't always help the air flow but I can do something to fix it to an extent.After I got this on under the door it does come with little tiny 3M stickies to put to it.I don't use those so I could pull it out and end for cleaning if I had to, but it is an option.It stays pretty well for the most part.I would say if your house is slightly drafty and you're looking for a quick inexpensive fix this would be your best betI was expecting something a little bit heavier but i'm glad that it wasn't

It works well. It's cheap. It's easy to adjust, and install.
