By Dolce & Gabbana For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 4.2 Ounce

This has been a favorite since the 1990's & I ensure that it's always in my cabinet. My bottle from Amazon has not yet arrived, but I certainly am pleased with the price. UPDATE 12/05/14: My bottle from Amazon arrived about two hours ago & it is absolutely perfect is every way. It was packed in a thick-walled carton with 2 large pieces of bubble wrap!! This is IDENTICAL to what I purchase at Dillard's... However, it costs $40.00 more for the same size bottle (4.2 oz.) & even costs $20.00 more for a smaller bottle (2.5 oz.) at Dillard's. The round seal (D&G sticker) on the wrapper, the box, the box markings, the bottle, the bottle markings, the scent, the potency are correct!! Therefore, all the conspiracy theorists need to stop the hysteria. Please keep in mind that colognes behave differently from person to person based on a great number of factors. As far as the bottle, which several people have mentioned, it was changed approximately 11 years ago!! Please trust & believe in what I am saying, as I have used this product for 20 years... With respect to manufacturing in another country & ruining its original scent, I don't agree. However, I must not have that guy's "keen olfactory" senses... Thank goodness because this is one of my favorite fragrances & has been since its introduction. The "keen olfactory" guy uses it like a deodorizer for his bedding?! Please!! Lastly, Someone else said that it smells like a lemon cleaning agent... C'mon, man, get a grip!! Procter & Gamble is in the business of making money - lots of money - in several different arenas & would not be foolish enough to change anything about the formula of a proven, successful commodity. If I am not mistaken, P&G owns Dolce & Gabbana, Hugo Boss & Gucci fragrance lines. Enough said, right? Folks, please don't let the foolishness, negativity & misery of some of the reviewers mislead you... I only hit my wrist with one tiny spray from this bottle - right out of the box from Amazon - of Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (approximately 2 hours ago) & the scent still is very strong. Authentic cologne at an outstanding price from a truly customer-friendly organization... Thanks to Amazon & its employees for another extraordinary experience.

Man when this perfume came out around 1994 i purchased a bottle because the scent was like nothing i ever smelled before, it was different from everything else out there, soon lots of my friends caught on and it was the talk of the town and the go to perfume when going out to the clubs which i practically use to live in 4-5 nights a week, you could pick up any girl with this along with some versace or gucci shoes and of course dolce and gabbana clothes, before the year 2000 i probably owned 3 bottles all the biggest one along of course with other perfumes but as you get older and othet perfumes come out you move on and keep buying different things, so i just ordered this a few days ago after probably 18 or 19 years and let me tell you wore it last night to go out and my wife was like mmmm what the hell are you wearing, im like dolce and gabbana from the 90s she is like wow i didnt remember that smelled so good, my 9 year old said that whatever i was wearing smelled awesome and 2 people asked what the hell are you wearing that is a fabulous scent, all in all today the shirt i had on last night still smells like dolce and gabbana, the scent is still strong on the shirt, i love going back to old school stuff like obsession by calvin klein for example but when this bottle finishes i will order another one, dont know when since i have about 18 bottles of perfume but i will keep this in the line up, this perfume is awesome!!!!!

As with everything in time, things change.... This is definitely the REAL DEAL, but they have made the scent more subtle and it is not a intense. I wore this faithfully when it emerged decades ago. This was my "Sunday's Best" Cologne for church. Back then I remember the scent being overpowering. One spray under the shirt worked so well and would last 4+ hours. More than one spray and there would be an emerging headache somewhere within the day , due to the scent remaining super strong. This version, Seems allot more subtle. It takes 2 - 3 sprays to achieve the same level of potency as before.

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme is a versatile and distinguished fragrance for men. The scent is at home in a suit, a pair of jeans, at night, during the day, in winter, or in summer. It is suitable for everyday use and for special occasions. Pour Homme has always opened with a sharp citrus note: primarily lemon, bergamot, and neroli. Unlike many fragrances, top notes stick around for quite awhile and yield to a peppery lavender with a woody base, punctuated by a very light, fresh tobacco. It is almost "soapy," in a very complex way, and very fresh. Some reviewers have suggested - and I agree - that it's reminiscent of Versace's dreamer. Both fragrances are masterpieces, though D&G's dry down remains sharp with notable citrus accords while Dreamer tones down to primarily tobacco. Pour Homme projects well and lasts for a very long time on the skin; even longer on clothing. Very happy with my purchase from amazon.com. For those who are concerned about counterfeit fragrances: I ordered mine directly from amazon.com. I can't attest to the authenticity of sellers in the "marketplace." It is entirely authentic when purchased and shipped from amazon. Another note for fragrance fans: this fragrance was recently reformulated by Proctor & Gamble UK. The differences between the English version and the older Italian version are negligible; the new version has an ever-so-slightly sharper opening but dries down to effectually the same scent as the original.

This was the very first “real” cologne that I ever bought. Up to that point it was whatever I could get at Walmart or other big box retailers. This cologne’s scent profile immediately spoke to me and it’s been a favorite ever since. Unfortunately, I discovered after ordering this (and double checking on online forums and FragranceNet) D&G relocated their facility to France from Italy. When they did this, the quality of what I considered to be their flagship fragrance suffered. It still smells amazing but it is a shell of its former self. The scent isn’t as strong as it used to be, and it lasts an hour, two hours tops. I have to use almost double the amount to even come close. I will more than likely keep this on hand for sentimental reasons and replenish it whenever it runs out as it isn’t exorbitantly priced. But I’m sad to say that its glory days are long behind it.

This is my absolute fav the all time panty dropper my husband wears it and I have my own bottle never has anyone said it wasn't amazing it's one of those just perfect not offensive doesn't make u sneeze doesn't smell like cheap high karate men's fragrances you sort of have to smell it to get the gist of it it's not typical and it's easily unisex but not feminine I'm not great with scent descriptors but trust me it's a solid classic

The smell itself is very nice, not one of my favs, but my husband loves it. Three squirts will do it. Anything more is over powering. The price is great for the size. I will purchase this again.

I ordered this Dolce & Gabbana product and it arrived within 3 days. Now this where it get's interesting. After opening the shipping box I realized the plastic that goes over the product box was open at the bottom. I decided to get into the box through the bottom making sure I don't damage the inner carton lining the box. After opening the bottom flap of the box a piece of the inner lining of carton fell off as it was torn. I realized immediately the box had been tampered with, and possibly the original Dolce & Gabbana had been switched with a knock off. I called Amazon.com and aired my concern, I was surprised at their understanding and was delighted at the speed it took them to resolve my issue. They refunded my money, and since sprays fall under flammable/hazardous material category they are not returnable. So they asked me to keep it. Not to worry Amazon, I'm getting ready to buy a 55' LED TV and I will be buying it from you guys. You rock!!

I got it from Amazon at about $80, but trust me when I say this. It's worth every penny. It has all the qualities that a perfect perfume should bear, i.e. it smells amazing and it lasts long. I simply love the product and if you're reading this review, don't think twice to buy this perfume at the said price, you won't regret it.

Este perfume es de esos clásicos que nunca fallan. Lo compré para uso diario y la verdad huele limpio, masculino y con un toque sofisticado. Tiene una salida fresca y cítrica, pero después se vuelve más cálido y amaderado. No es un perfume escandaloso, pero sí deja presencia, ideal para oficina, citas o uso casual elegante. Me ha durado bien unas 6 horas en piel y más en ropa. Si buscas algo seguro, elegante y con identidad, sin caer en lo común, este es muy buena opción.
