Have faith in the application instructions.
It was a bit of a nerve-racking application, having just spent $150 and not knowing if I was doing it correctly; did I get it stirred properly? is this suppose to be so sticky? am I spreading it too thin? etc. But after letting it cure a good 5 days over an extended weekend, I've decided I'll never buy a whiteboard again. It erases beautifully without any ghosting effect. Very happy with the product thus far.
