Totally Suprised by How Well it Minimizes Moisture
I am seriously impressed with this shirt. I own moisture-wicking synthetic shirts from various makers (Columbia, Under Armour, Adidas, etc.), but this one performs better than any of them. The material is thin (not a bad thing for a shirt designed to stay dry during active use) but soft and comfortable. The quality level seems is very good, and certainly comparable to more expensive athletic brands. I decided to test the shirt while push-mowing my yard in 95 degree humid summer heat in Georgia. In a cotton t-shirt, I'd have been completely soaked. This shirt maintained only a little bit of moisture and stayed impressively dry given the conditions. Seriously, I wasn't inclined to expect this shirt to perform any differently than my other synthetic t-shirts, but it did. I am extremely impressed - and surprised - by it's ability to stay drier than any other shirt I own.The only consideration I'd suggest is sizing. This Alpha short sleeve t-shirt definitely has a trim, athletic fit. I wear a 46 long coat and 36-38 pants, and XL is my go to size. The XL here is quite form fitting around the chest, and not quite as tight but still close fitting around the waist. If you like a looser fit, DEFINITELY order a size up. Even if you upsize, keep in mind that this is by design a slim fit shirt and it will still be cut a bit less generously all around.Overall, I completely dig this shirt. It offers good quality, good comfort, and good looks (the Estate Blue looks very classy), and I am seriously impressed with it's moisture management, which proves to be more than just a claim - it really works.

My favorite gym shirt, already own 3
Great fitting shirt. Does a great job wicking sweat and accentuates my chest, shoulders, back, and arms.I bought a small. I would think small would fit best on a 5"2 - 5"6 frame from 120 - 140 lbsGet a medium if you're 5"5 - 5"9 from 135 - 160 lbsIf you're unsure, size up 1. the sizing difference isn't drastic, so it won't be ridiculously oversized.

Nice shirt, smaller sizing. I see no benefit from 37.5 tech. Quality breatheable shirt for $.
Well, I've been using this shirt on and off for a 3x weekly 25 mile bike ride here in Florida. Think 75+% humidity, 75-90+ temps, and ~90 minute duration of above average exertion.Fabric is thicker than expected. Surprising tiny sizing - first purchase required a return for a bigger size, which is unusual. Stitching is excellent and above average for a shirt this price. I cold see this shirt selling for many times this price with a different logo on it.Now, the 37.5.... No evidence of any benefit over 100% regular poly shirts. In fact, the fabric is thicker, so that may be a negative in heat. No feeling of any increased 'microclimate' comfort. This may be great for a quick run and a tiny area of sweat in the center of your chest will go away faster, but I derive no benefit sadly. Total bummer, as I see this tech in more and more textiles and really wanted some obvious benefit. After a 90 minute bike ride, I am still soaking wet, just the same as in any 100% regular polyester shirt.

👕🔥💦 better than tight pants, but
Tight shirts are very not my favorite. I wear XLT usually. This XXXL (3XL) fits almost correctly. 2XL is tight. XL is laughably constricting. If you need a compression shirt you will be happy with the sizing. If you want a skin tight fit order one size larger. If you want a Tee Shirt order 2 sizes larger. The fit of the 2XL Mission alpha is NOT the same as the 2XL Mission proton . Proton is a tapered athletic cut.I haven't been able to objectively corroborate the 5-times faster cooling claims of the patented polyester, 37.5. Since I didn't burn forty dollars on hype, but instead spent only five I have no need to opt to believe. I wore this to the beach in 81 degree weather with a stiff breeze mostly sitting in the shade of canopy. The unprotected heat of the waterline had me sweating, but not uncomfortably sticky. However I get similar results from DRI Equip polyester fabric assembled into shirts by both Joe's USA and Sport-Tek .The 37.5 hype would be made more powerful by a video of people in sciency lab coats and timed evaporation comparison of materials. Lab coats = trust as the media propagandists would have us believe.

Excellent wicking running/hiking/general exercise technical shirt
A lot of people talk about how Mission products aren't worth their retail; in most cases they're right. However, it's very easy to find most Mission clothing for 30-40% off, especially on Amazon. I bring that up only because based off the overall quality of Mission clothing it absolutely is worth what it actually tends to cost in reality. This shirt is meant to be a form fitting technical t shirt that moves with your body, but isn't loose. It's also meant to wick sweat and help keep you both dry and cool. In fact, even if worn in the winter, it'll actually help to keep you warm as well because staying as dry as possible is half the battle of funding winter warmth. My impressions:1. I find the sizing charts to be accurate for Mission. I own this shirt in different colors and they all fit the same in a large. To give you an idea of that in numbers:-21 inches pit to pit-25 inches top of collar to bottom front-28 top of collar to bottom back2. If you have a long midsection, you do need to exercise a little caution in sizing. Or, if you're a little round of belly, you need to be careful as well. For me, the large works length wise and I'm just a hair over 6 foot tall with just a hair over typical mid section length.3. In terms of wicking, this does very well but it's not going to keep you entirely dry, especially if you sweat a great deal. Still, it does well, especially for this price point.4. Build quality is great and the material feels very nice. The shirt also just looks like a quality piece of apparel.5. The shirt resists retaining odors very well.Overall, this is a shirt that I love wearing for running and hiking, as well as casually on occasion. It's well thought out and constructed and does its job effectively. Given the prices you can find almost all Mission apparel for on Amazon, you will not find more quality for your money. Buy it!Cheers!
