Litcessory Controller to 6-Pin Adapter for Philips Hue/WiZ Lightstrip (Hardwired Version, White - STANDARD 6-PIN V3 / WiZ Lightstrip)

This product worked as it was supposed to. The only thing that was a bit confusing was the color coding on the connectors. The light strip base, once cut and stripped, has a brown wire. The adapter does not have a brown one. After a process of elimination there is a red one with what looks like a black line through it. Put the brown in that one and everything works just fine. Overall great product.

I have 6 Philips Hue light strips and controllers. Plus a *lot* of extension strips. I have purchased quite a few different LED light strips and the Philips Hue are by far the best. But, wiring them the way Philips intended would be very awkward, result in a lot of wasted strips, and way too many controllers being purchased. Along comes Litcessory. The Direct-to-Controller hardwired adapter allowed me to easily and quickly put a splitter in place. (The Litcessory splitters and extensions are great, too.) These allow me to maximize my investment in Philips Hue strips and controllers without breaking the bank. For the hardwired adapter, yes, you do need to snip the wire coming out of the controller, strip the wires, and insert them in to the Litcessory connectors. And, yes, it sounds scary as heck. And, yes, your heart will skip a beat the first time you snip the wire. But, it is not hard. If you have never snipped and stripped wires before, then just go really slow and steady. And pay attention when you plug the wires in to the Litcessory connections. I put on 6 of these puppies without a problem. Thanks to Litcessory for making Philips Hue even better!

So I tried using this product, but when I plugged everything in, my lights would not turn on. So I contacted Litcessory to see if they could help me figure out this problem. I sent them photos of the set-up, and explained the situation. Their CS was slow. I had to send them multiple emails. And after they replied, they said they had to contact level 2 support. But after that, they never contacted me. So I can't say if this product works correctly or not. Hopefully you have better luck with this product.

Works well. I have one wire that just seems to be a bit loose, but everything still works great and since this sit on top of a cabinet, it'll never move or get bumped so no worries. One tip, as pointed out in another review, there are two "red" connectors on the adapter and only 1 red wire coming out of the controller along with a brown (which has no corresponding color on the connectors). I followed the advise in the previous review, bright red connector to red wire and then brown wire to the slightly darker red with a dark line together. This worked perfectly without any issues. Could be clearer but not too hard to figure out.

Little bulky, and make sure you cut the wire between the controller and the light strip directly in the middle since you will need to use the included splices on both sides. Also, colors on the connectors were a bit hard to determine, had to use process of elimination there, docked a star for that. Otherwise, once all set up it's working great.

These little doohickeys are awesome. They’re easy to work with and are perfect for their intended purpose. One tip - when color matching the connectors in the adapter with the wires in your light strip you’ll find that there appear to be TWO red connectors in the Litcessory adapter but one red and one brown wire in the light strip. Which one goes with which!?!? I’ve wired three of these things now, and I have had 100% success using the BRIGHT red connector with red wire and the slightly darker red connector with the brown wire. I have deducted one star for this as it is confusing. One other thing - once the connections had all been made I bundled it together and wrapped the whole thing with white electrical tape for the sakes of both safety and appearance.

Litcessory offers a great product line to work with Philips Hue light strips. I needed a way to run a splitter right out of the power supply and this product accomplished that. This product was very easy to use. All you have to do is cut the wire between the control box & the light strip. Next, insert each of the 6 wires into the connector and close the latch. The connections are color-coordinated to the wires so it's easy to follow. Add one of these adapters to both sides of the cut wire & you're free to add a splitter, extension, etc. in between the two. Connections worked flawlessly the first time. Based on simplicity & quality, I would recommend Litcessory products to anyone working with Philips Hue Strips.

Ottimo prodotto, utile quando si deve "modificare" gli attacchi di alimentazione della lightstrip, ad esempio per fare passare il cavo dell'alimentazione attraverso una forassite, perchè purtroppo i cavi verso l'alimentatore sono saldati e l'unica soluzione è tagliarli e ricollegarli con questo prodotto diventa facilissimo! Siguiendo las instrucciones es relativamente sencillo de instalar y puedes multiplicar las opciones a la hora de instalar una tira LED Hue Lightstrip (separar la tira del controlado, conectar un splitter, etc.). Puedes hacerlo por bastante menos dinero si sabes soldar o hacer empalmes en este tipo de cables, pero con este accesorio resulta realmente sencillo.

I'm very impressed with how they designed it to make a complex process easy and fullproof for the average person.
