Review Once again, Beckie Lindsey has knocked it out of the park with Uninvited, her second installment from the Beauties from Ashes Series. She continues to bring to light the very real issues of spiritual warfare with characters that I've become so endeared to. I could not put this book down. Her writing style makes it easy to read just one more chapter. This book is a must read for all ages.Uninvited is the second in a series by author, Beckie Lindsey. She continues the story of several characters who today might be referred to as "frenemies." This story begins with a possible love triangle among characters who are struggling to be good people despite temptations and difficult pasts. Reminiscent of C. S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters, demons are involved in the mix with both realistic unsavory and good people. Although the content is religious, the characters deal with serious real-life issues such as bulimia, incest, and premarital sex. If I had a daughter or was a mentor to a teenager, I would read this, too, so that a discussion could follow. Adults might remember their teenaged issues or those of their friends. Warning: this book ends with an unfinished dilemma, but the first chapter of the third book in the trilogy is included. I can't wait for book 3!Another amazing masterpiece by Beckie Lindsey! This book is captivating, insightful and hard to put down. I'm excited to know there's another book in the future!! Uninvited is book two of the trilogy. Another Homerun for Beckie Lindsey!
After I read Lindsey's first novel in the Beauties from Ashes Series, Secrets, I didn't know how she could possibly top it with her sequel. Boy, was I wrong! The characters we meet in Secrets become even more three-dimensional and believable in Uninvited. I felt that I knew each one of them personally, and empathized with their problems and challenges throughout the entire novel. It's a can't-put-it-down winner!~Martha Orlando, author of A Trip, a Tryst and a Terror, Children in the Garden, The Moment of Truth, Revenge!, Redemption, and Revelation

Very well written and hard to put down!
Couldn't hardly put it down! Finished in under 3 nights of bed readings! Loved! The author weaves the story in between the spiritual realm and the earthly realm seamlessly and creates one to truly think and come to realizations of many levels at play within the lives of the characters within and of us.

Even better than the first book. I did not think it was possible.
This is such a great series. A lot of teens and adults can relate to what is going on in the lives of these girls. It also shows there is hope in God. Also a great word picture in “seeing” how prayer works in the spiritual realm. I can not wait until the next book comes out.

An engaging read for teens and young adults
Uninvited is the second in the Beauties from Ashes series. The first book was well written, and Uninvited is just as good. Engaging characters face relevant issues as a spiritual battle rages around them. Beckie Lindsey handles these issues from a Biblical perspective in an honest, straightforward manner. A great read for teens and young adults!

Riveting plots and vivid imagery draw you in like a good movie.
Beckie Lindsey does not disappoint in this sequel. In The Uninvited, Beckie arms us with not only the truth about who Jesus is, but also who our enemy is. And she holds nothing back in depicting armies of angels and demons in the life of four young girls and the people around them. As we cheer for these girls to overcome the battles they face (and you will be rooting for them), the book's overall storyline is cheering us on too. Riveting plots and vivid imagery draw you in like a good movie. And Beckie guides us on an adventure toward redemption and restoration.
