Lovely looking instrument. Machine heads do not hold the tuning for too long before slipping. The guitar is very lightweight and feels comfortable. There are some interesting dynamics to be made playing around with the tone and volume switches, the pickups are quite sensitive and the hollow body can help shape some bizarre feedback. Perhaps putting on a new set of Machine heads will improve the general enjoyment of playing it. The neck feels okay and the out of the box set up was a good place to start . With a few modifications this could be a very good guitar.

Amazing look, quality and sound for the price!
Arrived earlier than expected. Guitar has an amazing finish and sound for the price. I had previously owned an Epiphone dot which is double the price and there is really very little difference. Strings supplied are a little light. Soft gig bag is handy. Small tuner it came with was a lovely surprise. It really does have a lovely look...it has garnered many an approving comment. I have since changed the volume and tone controls. Stays in tune well enough. Action fine. Have not tried it the supplied cable or strap so cannot comment. Am very happy with the product and service.

Good guitar for the money but be may need some tweaking
The guitar looks good with its cherry red finish, bound neck and trapezoid inlays - I had been looking for an Epiphone version with these features but they currently don't have one in their range. I already had an Epiphone Dot, (shown in the photo for comparison). At this price, I thought it worth a try and after a little bit of work, I now have a nice playing guitar for very little outlay. At first, there was some fret buzz around the middle of the neck and one of the frets was actually dented. Also a couple of frets were higher than the rest. I pulled out the dented one, reshaped it and reinstalled. After that, I levelled and polished all the frets and adjusted the truss rod. I found that the slots in the nut needed some extra filing too. Once done, I had a buzz-free guitar with a comfortable action. I am very happy with it, it's very good for the price really, just loses a star due to the dented fret - all the other work I expected to do anyway. It's a good enough guitar that I thought it worth spending the money for a bigsby vibrato which can be seen in the photos. Works well with a roller bridge with no tuning issues.

Beautiful guitar, great sound
Beautiful guitar, great sound, unbelievable price and even had extras like padded carry bag , strap, plectrums etc I didnt expect. The carriers let me (and Rob of Rockschool) down as the original guitar went "walkies" . Before it was even located, Rob sent me another, next day guaranteed delivery. This is a great guy to do business with....if I could, I would give SIX stars. I recommend both the guitar, and Rockschool.

Great guitar for the money
I've had this guitar for two weeks now, as I wanted to use it for a while before leaving a review, and i have to say i have been extremely impressed. It is very playable and has a pleasing range of tones. Although some people have said that the strings it comes with are too light, personally i think they are fine as they are quite forgiving on the finger tips. As others have mentioned there was a little fret buzz when it first arrived and it tended to drift out of tune quite quickly, but after a couple of days 'settling in' both issues disappeared. Also as mentioned elsewhere, although this is a semi-acoustic instrument, it is not very loud when unplugged (not much louder than a solid bodied electric guitar) however it is plenty loud enough to practice without disturbing the rest of the household, so you shouldn't let this put you off. Overall this is great guitar for the money and I would highly recommend it

This is a terrific guitar fir tge price
Although I am getting a lot older, I used to have and play a guitar many years ago when I was in my teens. I decided to but this Benson guitar as I felt it was the nearest I could get to a previous hoffner Verithin guitar I use to have. This is a terrific guitar fir tge price, which included a bag plectrums lead and strap. I hope to get a lot of enjoyment from it.

great value for money
Arrived quicker than expected, was well put together and set up. The lead supplied is pretty basic and I updated that straight away but overall a bargain at this price! My only complaint is that the electrical socket input is slightly loose but doesn't seem to cause any issues
