requires further processing prior to use in dye vats
This is NOT Thiourea dioxide for woad and indigo dying BUT if you can't find Thiourea dioxide, you can convert Thiourea using household hydrogen peroxide: CH4N2S + 2H2O2 → CH4N2O2S + 2H2O. One needs an accurate scale and understand working with chemicals inherently requires knowledge and caution.

NOT USED FOR INDIGO VAT!
If you are looking for Thiourea Dioxide to use in an INDIGO VAT, WOAD VAT, or an other tie dye or ecodye vat- THIS IS THE WRONG CHEMICAL! It's very often confused, and I see it pictured with Indigo Dyes and Kits on Amazon. I did the same thing. Now I realize that I need "Thiourea Dioxide"- which this is not. This is just "Thiourea". Different chemical structure and far more hazardous than Thiourea DIOXIDE. You can find the right stuff in Rit Dye/Color Remover, or by itself at Dharma Trading.
