Favorite cutting board
I love this cutting board so much, I bought a second one. It is a solid piece of teak, which is nice because it doesn't contain any glue which means you don't have to wonder what glue they used and if it is safe. It is also super smooth and rich in color. It looks really nice and is hard, so knife cuts don't show up much after use. I do rub coconut oil on it every 10 uses or so, only because I really want it to last forever. So far, it is holding up great.

Too Late to Return
Very disappointed in this. Basically it's a piece of wood that someone haphazardly cut into and rectangle and drilled a hole. The wood was unfinished and had a 6" crack down the center. I am a woodworker and was able to do some repair, but for the price I paid, well let's just say I would have sent it back if I had time before Christmas

Size misrepresented !!!
This product is NOT 14.5" x 11" . The finish is good and the wood is very nice, but.....when selling a cutting board listing the correct size is super important as this is one of the primary factors in the selection process. I feel duped. I would be very careful purchasing from a company that would misrepresent something so crucial.

Great Value but Needs a bit of work
I bought two boards and I haven't used them yet. I will lower my rating if they have usability issues but I'm giving it four stars for now which is the max I give any new product that requires modification or any kind of special process out of the box. In this case I'm sanding down an edge, trying to remove some blue lines, and carefully scraping adhesive off of the board. Given the cost of the boards and the alternatives I still think these things are a great value for a wood cutting board made from one solid piece of wood. The boards appear to be the entire width of the tree judging by the heartwood/sapwood. They definitely have sapwood on both sides. I don't know how that impacts the quality/longevity of teak but I assume like most wood the sapwood is softer. Most cutting would be done towards the center of the board so I don't see that as an issue. In terms of size both of my boards are within 1/2 an inch of the advertised size. Given this is a natural wood product and minimally processed some variation is to be expected. I'm not sure why some other reviewers are so fixated on this being an exact size given it is such a natural product. I will say that one of my boards is 1 inch thick instead of the advertised 0.7 inches which I would say is sloppy but I actually like it as I will be able to sand it down once it gets worn out and have a newer cutting board again. One side of the boards has an angle cut in to them likely to match the edge of the tree. It definitely was the edge of the tree on one of my boards and the cut was shallow because I can see the borrows bugs made under the bark on the surface of the tree. I will be sanding that edge down a bit more to get rid of the borrows. The worst part of my experience with these so far was the Amazon stickers on the products. The boards themselves came bare in a box so the Amazon sticker/label was placed directly on the board. When the sticker is removed it leaves adhesive behind effectively leaving one side of the board unusable/unsafe and you can't use chemical products to remove the adhesive because it would be absorbed into the wood. I used a new razor blade to very carefully scrape the adhesive away which worked fine but still left a bit of discoloration on the wood. I also have a series of very short parallel blue marks on one side of one of the boards. It is as if someone was tallying something on a piece of paper on the board using a thin blue marker and it bled through the paper into the wood. It is barely noticeable and I will likely try to sand it out. -= Update =- When sanding down the edges on these I found that the bug borrows went quite a bit deeper than I thought. I also found that they had been filled with wood filler of some kind. By the time I was done sanding them out I had removed about an inch from each of my cutting boards. I then realized that one of the boards was badly warped to the point where it didn't sit flat without rocking a bit so I decided to sand down the surfaces of the boards to get them flat. Because of the sapwood on the edges this was a difficult process. As I sanded I needed to be careful to mostly avoid the sapwood on the edges because they would sand down very quickly compared to the heartwood at the center and result in the board sloping down on the edges. Eventually I got the boards sanded down to a point I was happy. After I'm done treating these boards I will have spent over 3 hours or so preparing this purchased product. Because of the time I needed to invest I lowered by rating to three stars. I'm still happy with the purchase but given the woodworking required I would rather have bought a piece of quality somewhat local hardwood from a specialty wood supplier and made the cutting boards myself from scratch.

Inconsistent quality
First one I received had a very badly putty-filled hole in the cutting board. The replacement I received is fine, but hesitate to recommend a product with such an obvious flaw the first time around

The board is 1 inch short in width - Come back and change my review
Nice board. But cheating in description for its size. 10 inch width reduce to 9 inch is a big difference. Not sure I want to return it or not. - I requested the exchange after also found a 2 inch crack at both side of the board. The replace shipped to me and I was happy with the new cutting board. Nice and right size.

Um, no
Came with some damage on the sides. It appears some etching tool went to town on the long edges of the board? The short edges had what seems to be wood filler placed inside a couple spots where a knot fell out. It was extremely soft. Soft to the point it would fall out very soon and very easily. Will be returning
