bright colored, good wood pieces, but it comes already put together in the "box frame" I am going to take it apart before i give to my great nephew and just put it in some sort of pouch and photograph of what it is supposed to look like. That way he can be surprised!

Hard to get apart when we opened it. Some cardboard on back peeled off. Loved the colors off puzzle me and my grandson enjoyed doing it together.

After getting one of these at a gift shop, I ordered three more with different pictures. One was not well glued and fell apart, it has been replaced promptly. The picture on the inside helps my three year old grandson to find where the pieces go easily. the sturdy wooden pieces stand up to the more forceful nature of a toddler. Great puzzles, I will definitely be ordering more.

These puzzles are okay, but there's no full sized picture of the assembled puzzle to consult while putting it together, which I imagine is important for the age group for whom it is recommended, but also is for my 93 year old friend for whom I bought several of these puzzles. Also, when punching apart the pieces before your first use, you have to exercise caution so you don't tear the paper that the image is printed on off the cardboard. Once you do that, it's fine, but I let him do two of then while I wasn't watching and many pieces are affected (gluing didn't really help -- the paper buckles up).

Nice puzzle! but so tightly connected it was very hard to get apart several of the wood connecter tabs broke off the bottom layers on underside. only one piece separated on top side and had to be glued.

My 2 1/2 year old son loves the picture of the dinosaurs. Some dinosaur puzzles have too much brown and green in the picture, but I like how this is brighter. The pieces are a little tight and hard to put together sometimes, compared to Melissa and Doug.

Let’s start with what I do like:Super colorful, and I love that the base of the puzzle has explanations and names of the dinosaurs, as well as a faint picture to guide putting it together. My 4 year old son was SO excited to work this puzzle!What I don’t like:It is peeling after being put together 2 times. If you don’t want to re-glue the colorful top to 48 pieces, don’t waste your money.

My 4 year old loves the Ice Age, and this puzzle is great. We have probably built it 50 times already. Wooden pieces fit together easily onto the wood board. Under the pieces there is a faint print of the image to help young puzzle builders find the fight piece and learn to do the puzzle independently. One of our favorites, I am sure we will build it many more times!

Straight out of the wrapping I could not even get the puzzle pieces apart to use this puzzel, cheap wood that was split and top pieces that came off from the bottom.After I finally manage to separate the puzzle pieces I better go buy some glue as I need to repair at least 10 of them.
