The cap on the Erudite pen is not as pictured in the products description, as can be seen in the uploaded image. And in the product description it clearly states the product includes 24 ink cartridges, which it does NOT. There is a box of only 6 (SIX) cartridges. Three black/blue. This products description requires updating, and the correct product as pictured needs shipping accurately! Otherwise, the pen is sound.

I had been waiting a while for this pen to come back into stock. I am not disappointed! I haven't had chance to fill it with ink and use it yet, but it is very well made. I have other pens from Wordsworth and Black. They do not disappoint. Would recommend

I had already ordered one of the Wordsworth & Black fountain pens from their large range. I was so satisfied with it … I ordered two more! These pens are incredible; such good value for the money spent. This is the second of the two pens bought, and the second review. I shall not bother repeating myself on this review, but suffice to say that I am so glad I came across the W&B pens when I did.

Mixed feelings about this pen. It was bought as a present for my granddaughter but when I came to fitting a cartridge to try it, they simply wouldn't fit. The cartridge plastic was far too tough for the "wick" to penetrate. So I used the "bladder" (for want of a better term). It filled ok but I couldn't get the ink to flow, try as I might. I gave up and packed the pen away intending to send it back as defective. The following morning my granddaughter asked to have a try with it and it worked perfectly. One of life's great mysteries! It writes well and the flow is ok (now) - 4 stars.

Usually, it takes some time to wear in a new nib (which is why you should never use another person's fountain pen), but this required only a little to work really well. A good product, well packaged in a nice box, itself inside a nice cardboard box, so would make an excellent gift.Rules for fountain pens:1) ONLY use ink specifically for fountain pens (NOT Indian ink - if it dries in the pen, you have wrecked it and will have to buy a new one - be warned), not printers' ink, or inks for dipping pens.2) Wash through only in water by filling and emptying a few times every couple of months or so, then dry on a tissue and leave to air dry; NEVER, NEVER use other cleaning chemicals, like nail varnish remover.3) Do not allow others to use your pen, your nib is specifically for you & your style of handwriting.4) Be patient, it takes time to wear in a nib. Your handwriting will thank you for it, improve, and make letters more impressive. It photocopies better, too.5) Do not press down hard when writing. One of the great advantages of a fountain pen is that you need only very light pressure, sufficient to make contact with the paper, so are much less tiring to use than a ballpoint pen. If the ink is soaking into the paper, like blotting paper, you need to use better quality paper. I bought two A4 refill pads from the same brand, the recycled variety paper soaks up ink and spreads out, unlike the proper main brand, so you might need to test it. You get what you pay for, and one of the ways to reduce paper's price is to lower the quality ingredients, like China clay.6) DO NOT write cheques, (or other important documents like wills) in fountain pen, or any other erasable inks - it can be washed out. ALWAYS use a non - erasable pen for these, such as a permanent ballpoint pen.7) Carry nib upwards in your pocket, cap on.8) Remember to underfill your pen a little to take on an aeroplane - it's less likely to leak with the pressure changes, but with modern pens, this shouldn't be a problem.9) Take pleasure in using your pen: a good fountain pen is one of life's little joys.I hope this helps.

Never dries out like some cheap ones - well worth the money and just as good as the really expensive ones.Kept by my PC and used with a notebook - a bit old school - but very useful when you want to go back and check some notes. Ordered another one with a broad nib.

I struggled to find a wide nib comparable with my old Parker 51. This is superb ! I love the fact that it comes with a filler as well as cartridges. I shall be ordering another one ! Thank you !

Bought as a present for somebody who likes using a broad nib fountain pen. He is very satisfied with the quality of the pen.

I was looking for a heavier fountain pen to go along with my handwriting style. I write with the cap posted. This one did it. I love the weight. The pen looks elegant and I like the “pop” it makes when removing the cap. The fountain pen I purchased was a medium nib and is very similar to my other medium nib fountain pens. It came with a converter and a box of blue and black ink cartridges which is my current preference. Great pen and ink for the price.

J'en suis fan, fan, et avec de l'encre rose de Pilot, c'est tt à fait girly à fond..Mais pas que...car j'aime j'aime sa plume moyenne très très proche de fine...son glisser très coulant..Vraiment je recommande à 200 %..J'ai acheté le stylo inox doré tellement j'aimais ...

Je suis une accroc aux stylos plumes, j'en ai beaucoup et celui-ci est l'un de mes préférés, je ne connaissais pas avant cet achat les stylo plumes avec pompe. J'ai du coup acheté une flacon d'encre et je trouve cela beaucoup plus économique et moins polluant sous se format la.La plume n'est pas trop fine chose que j'aime beaucoup et rend l'écriture très jolie. Il glisse très bien tant sur du papier papier fin et lisse comme celui de paperblank mais également sur du papier plus épais style papier à dessin. La couleur est vraiment jolie et le poids parfait. Bref je l'aime tellement que j'en ai déjà commandé un deuxième dans la couleur jaune et avec un nouveau flacon d'encre de couleur différente comme cela chaque stylo aura son encre et je n'aurais pas besoins de le laver en permanence pour faire le changement de couleur.

I can't believe the lightness of this pen that bring smoothy dark touch on paper. I have become a fan of this pen. I will have more. I love this. This pen is out of the world. Excellent, outstanding and unbelievable. Professionals should have one of this in their use at least.
