Plantar Fasciitis sucks and this brace works!
I have had plantar fasciitis for 2, miserable, life changing years now. I have gone through 6 months of therapy (stretching, weights, deep massage, ultrasound) as well as multiple steroid injections in my heel ) which gave me relief for all of 24 hrs), ankle sleeves, $75 and $50 shoe inserts. Nothing worked. This brace is the only thing that has given me any amount of relief. The best way to describe my PF (other than miserable) is that for every step I would take, I would pay for it later. Pain for the majority of the day. This brace let me take my first steps in the morning pain-free in over 2 years. I was shocked! I still get pain after walking on any uneven ground but is so much less than it was. I don't know if I'll ever be truly pain free but having the first steps of everyday not be unbearable is a huge step in the right direction at least. The brace itself definitely felt odd initially. But it was nothing I couldn't deal with if, it had the potential to make the PF govaway. I also read the review in regards to keeping bottom 2 straps on the looser side and top strap tight and have never had the issues with pain and/or numbness. The only thing I would alter on this is to put something with a little tack to it on the inside of the back calf area. I have an issue with the top brace strap moving down on me during the night (and I've played around with tension of strap), therefore lessening the stretch because my heel is no longer seated in the boot. It's only about 1/2 "- 1" but it's enough to have to readjust nightly. Bottom line is this product has changed my outlook on life. Honestly, prior to this I was beginning to give up. Well worth the money, I hope it works for you too!

Plantar Fasciitis relief
I wear a woman's size 9 1/2 shoe. I bought this Adjustable Night Splint in a medium and it fits perfectly. Sizes seem to run true to the size chart pictured. I wear it at night and also if I rest with my feet up during the day. It has given me a lot of pain relief from plantar fasciitis. It is of better quality than I expected given the reasonable price. The three velcro straps are adjustable and once adjusted, each has a clip for easy on and off so you don't have to adjust the straps each time. I find it fairly lightweight and not uncomfortable to sleep in. It has a thin rubber sole on the outside bottom so you can walk a bit in it and don't have to take it off if you are up through the night. It seems there is quite a bit of trial and error involved in finding the right things to bring relief from plantar fasciitis. What works for one person might or might not work for another. This splint is working great for me and I would highly recommend giving it a try.

Finely some comfort!
There is no way I can even attempt to sleep in this, instead I wear it when I am going to be sitting a long period of time. I definitely notice a difference in my pain from my plantar fasciitis when I go to stand after. If I sit for awhile and go to walk and have not had it on, it takes me several "steps" with me gripping ahold of things because of the pain in my foot (heel mostly) not allowing me to put my weight down on it, and even then it turns into more of a hobble with the pain being just tolerable. If I have worn this instead, and take it off before I go to move, I find the pain is immediately tolerable and I can move more normally. I have tried wearing it and walking and find while it is possible its extremely painful for me.Easily adjustable, lightweight and fairly comfortable, I recommend to anyone looking for relief from their foot pain. I would imagine if you are able to sleep with it on you would see even more of a benefit that I do just wearing while sitting.

which is what is recommended for women's size 7 shoe
This contraption is HUGE! My podiatrist told me I need to get one of these for both feet. When they arrived, I was surprised at how big these were. How am I going to sleep with these two giant Frankenstein feet getting caught/banging into each other, I wondered? Well, I never found out because I didn't even sleep with these one night. The reason is, I ordered a medium, which is what is recommended for women's size 7 shoe. They were so big that even though I had all the straps pulled as tight as they could go, I was still able to point my foot straight out even though these are supposed to keep your foot at a 90 degree angle. So, I returned them the next day and I didn't even bother getting a smaller size because they're outrageously bulky, especially if you have to wear two of them.

Great Help For Plantar Fasciitis
I read tons of reviews to try and figure out what made some of these better than others. I was so impressed by the quality of this splint at such a reasonable cost. Other places for these prices are 2 - 4 times the cost. I've used it for several weeks now. It makes a huge difference in how my foot feels in the morning. For some, the bulkiness may make it hard to sleep in, but having gone through foot surgery wearing casts and splints to bed, this was no problem. You can loosen the straps and still get the benefit of gentle stretching through the night. Having dealt with Plantar Facsiitis for many years, this was a "step" in the right direction.
